The Laundry Freak goes on Vacation..... Now finished 27 days of pictures and laughs!

Just got home this morning, and am catching your trip report. Was great meeting you this past week!!

Ok everyone please laugh with me. I have spent 6 hours working on my next addition to my TR and my baby girl just erased it. Can't get it back. Gotta love kids. Ok TR Take 2!!

Last day at the Nick hotel. This was such a nice hotel. I would definately go back there again. The hotel was clean. The staff was extra friendly. And I had no problems at all. There was so much to do at this hotel. Nick and Emmy's favorite thing to do at the hotel was chase a light projected on the floor that traveled all over the mall area. I would grab a coffee at the coffee bar and sit and let the kids chase the various designs. At times CM's would chase the lights around with them. One time the kids were on the floor chasing a light and about 4 CM's were on the floor with them. I have it on video. It was so funny. This was a very cheap thing for them to do. We played lots in the arcade. It was expensive 50 cents a game. How can you say no though. Here are a few pics of my kids in the arcade.

Pretty decient (sp?) arcade. All my little ones wanted were tatoos. This was 10 tickets each. Not too bad. They were too young to know you had to put money in the game to play. I got off really cheap with them. Now Anthony on the other hand.....

OK Character Breakfast. Now this was a hard bite for me to take. It was $50 for the four of us. Way too expensive in my book. But ask me if I would do it again and the answer would be ofcourse. Now the food was terrible IMO but the character interaction was awsome. I would pay just for that. Now Em loved Dora. She was her favorite. Dora was around a lot at our table. This was my favorite picture.

This one would have been better if the sun wasn't in the way.

Now we met many other characters. There was Cosmo and Wanda from Fairy odd Parents; Patrick, Squidward, and Spongebob. Here are a couple of those pictures.

Cosmo was a trip. Nick was afraid of him so he kept picking up Nicks "Detroit Tigers Cereal" aka Frosted Flakes. I was laughing really hard. Mean Mom.

Now Spongebob on the other hand was cool to Nick. His whole bedroom is done in Spongebob. I loved this picture the best.

Now When you go to the Nick Hotel what do you expect to see the most?

SLIME !!!!!!!!!!!!

This was a frozen lemonade flavored slime drink. YUCK!!!!!

Everyday at 4:45pm at the Lagoon Pool they dump a huge bucket of Green Slime all over the kids. It was a trip.
The evening of day 3 we went to a show. It was like Family Double Dare. We had such a good time. The audience was divided into 2 sections: Team Red and Team Blue. WE were Team Red. We Lost. Oh well but we were the Loudest. Don't know why?????? My big mouth had nothing to do with it. One of the Physical Challanges were the Dads had to dress as babies and sit in a large high chair. I never laughed so hard in my whole life. I wish I would have gotten some pics. Way too hard with 2 kids on my lap. They did slime a kid and used lots of cream pies in the face. This was cool. Too late in the evening for my kids though. They were ready for bed by the time we went at 7pm.

Ok now we scheduled a session with the on site photographer. I dressed up my kids a bit (Well a bit for on vacation) and we went down to do it. I did not know they were only gonna go outside and take a picture in the bushes.
I had a Sears portrait studio in mind. Oh well. I did not get any pictures they took but here is one that I snapped.

Now we are finally finished with the Nick Hotel and we are headed to the Mutherland. But first we have to stop and see if the Turtle Guy is there. (There was a guy, in a van, who sold turtles on the road by the Nick Hotel.) We checked for him several days but did not ever run into him. Sucked for Anthony but I was ok with it. Never did find a turtle our whole trip. Oh well.

Ok NOW FINALLY OFF TO THE MUTHERLAND!!!!!!!!!!
We drive up to the Movies.

Go in the hotel and while I was standing in line the kids went over to check out the movie playing in the mini movie theater. (An awsome feature IMO)
It was now about noon and our room was not ready. No big deal I wanted the tickets to head to the parks. We go and park our car and head over to the bus stop and guess where we go?????????

This was Anthony's choice. He loves epcot. The first thing we do is find a photographer. I want a photopass. We will be here for 10 days and I plan on getting lots of pics. Ok got the picture. Now off to "Spaceship Earth" Great ride. Boring for me but the kids loved it. Now off to see some characters. I need my character fix. Oh wait there is the Coca-Cola place to get our free soda. My favorite one was all out. You know the sweet tasting one that is watermelon flavored. Oh well we drank the ginger one. We did see something really cool and ofcourse had to get it.

I have never seen this before. This was our new feature of the trip.

Ok now to find the characters. No more distractions. Ok there is the Character Connection. We go in and the lines were outragious (sp?) so the guy at the door said to go around to the back and there are a couple characters there most don't know about. SWEET! Off we go. Run right into...

Emmy wanted nothing to do with him.
But she did like Alice.....

Ok I was happy for now........ Now we have to run we have adr's at WCC at 2:40pm gotta catch a bus to WL.

Now this is why VA Bear likes this place. It was beautiful......

This was my favorite feature of the restaurant.

I love pre entertainment for the kiddies. Helps me a lot.
Now we had a great dinner and an awsome waitress. Our waitress explained all about the dining plan to me. She was the best. I definately tipped her extra. My kids rode wooden stick ponies all around the restaurant. Our waitress was in charge so my kids got special treatment. We got our awards at the end. It was cute. I am definately going back to this restaurant next trip. I had the rainbow trout.

The kids had chix fingers what else is there?

Ok now we are done with our meal we have to check and see if our room is ready. Nope not yet. Ok off to the Magic Kingdom. We could not take a bus there so we had to take a boat.

Hung out there for a while and then called the hotel again. It was now around 7pm and our room was finally ready. Hotel here we go. Our room was in Fantasia 5 building. We were the first room to the left of the Big Hat!!!!!!!!! LOL

Oh how could I forget my most embarrassing moment of the entire trip. We walk into WCC and look what I saw........

Fellow Limeys...... I yelled it loud in the restaurant. They looked at me weird. They were just there on a family vacation. What are the chances that a whole group of people with lime green shirts on and big mickey heads on the front of them are NOT fellow limeys. Well it was my luck. I did tell them about the site and they didn't look at me as weird anymore.
Ok all done with the first day. Sorry about the delay. Day 2 at the Mutherland later.

One last and most important thing of the day! I did get to meet Mr. & Mrs. Oakie.

So wish we had more time together. Mrs. Oakie was a trip. I could see the 2 of us causing some trouble in the Mutherland. LOL

I even ran into an entire family wearing lime! I approached and said "Hi, your diser's right?" most of them looked at me like I had 3 heads but the mom laughed and said no but she had heard of them and knew what I was talking about. A part of me was a little miffed, false advertising! Glad your back on track with the TR! imagine little innocent Em doing a thing like erasing all of your work.... I just don't believe it!

Great TR update, Teresa. This story about the lime green group is very funny. I can't believe you took their picture. I saw many people with lime that I didn't dare to approach about the boards. There was a lady in front of me in the security line at Epcot with a lime green Baggallini, and I thought SURELY no one but a limey would own one, but she looked kind of intimidating, so I skipped asking her.

OK day 2 at the Mutherland....

We got up early and headed to Blizzard Beach. EMH had our room keys ready to enter.... In we go.... Anthony takes off to ride the real slides and I head to Tikes Peak. Cute area for the little ones. Em and Nick wear themselves and me out by running up the stairs and sliding down the slides. I have lots of pics of this but yep they are still on the water camera on my dresser....

3 hours later Anthony comes to me and guess what???? He actually wants to be fed... What is it with kids and wanting to eat? Ok we go and get lunch. Nothing big just counter service today.... We eat and he has got to show me the cool waterslide for the little ones to try.

We head over to Ski patrol training camp.... They have sweet slides that even Mom could ride. we go till little Em can't hold her eyes open anymore. Yeah time for a nap!!!!!!!

Wait for Anthony to come back and meet us and guess what my little scaredy cat went down Summit Plummit. He had a blast. He is afraid of everything. Some reason on this trip he tried everything. Guess it was because Dad wasn't there pressuring him to go on stuff. Dads just a big kid and wants someone to ride rides with. LOL

Ok on the bus and back to the room. Nap time. When we wake up we head back to the Nick hotel because silly mom left her blanket (yes I take my blanket with me everywhere) In our room. We go and find security and finally get my blankie. Ok off to try and find the turtle man again. Nope no luck. We drive up and down 192 and finally find a pet shop and go in and NOPE no turtle. He recomends to go to the flea market. PLEASE mom can we go. OK I do want mom of the year award so off we go in the pouring rain to find a turtle at the flea market. No such luck. OK I am now hungry. We over to Old Town for dinner. Its now nice out !! Gee silly weather in FL.. Can't happen... LOL

Old town was OK but not what I really thought it was gonna be. WE did watch a guy try and ride a mechinal bull. Pretty funny. We ate at A&W and the food sucked. Chili was horrible. Is it different down south? We went in and out of all the shops. Anthony found an Eddie Guerro shirt (passed away WWE wrestler) so we had to get it. Found Grandma (We call my mom Geema) a cow wind chime so have to get that. Went to the popcorn store and got some yucky popcorn. Kids liked it though. Off to the candy store... No it wasn't for the kids I am a candyhaloic......... Wow were they expensive. Got one piece for each kid Mom got nothing. They had candy sticks that I buy at the $ store for 4 for a dollar for a doller each. Ok off we go back to disney to go to bed early so we can get up early for Chef Mickey.

More Later but as soon as I get my pics developed I promise I will add them. LOL

My DS and DH went to TL, but wished they'd gone to BB instead. Glad you had fun there. Sounds like a blast!

We drove so It wouldn't have been a problem. I did however bring a beta fish down with me to florida on a plane when I moved there a long time ago. It was a trip. My ds like tl better than bb. He said bb was fun but once he rode all the slides he wanted to go.
