The Laundry Freak goes on Vacation..... Now finished 27 days of pictures and laughs!

Ok the crossfamily is taking a 27 day vacation from Wyandotte, MI to Orlando, FL. DH(Mike) ME(Teresa) DS9(Anthony) DS3 (Nickolas) & DD 21 mon. (Emily)

We will have many stops and stays along the way. We are stopping in Chattanooga, TN then its off to Orlando. On the way home we will be stopping in GA, and in Kentucky.

I am way behind on my posting due to now internet at the Mutherland but I am home now and I am working as fast as I can to catch up. I want to Thank everyone who is reading my TR. It means a lot to me to see all the lurkers. I love feedback!!!!!!! I am a rookie at TR's so the more feedback I get the better. Thanks once again.

Day 1

Its 6:30am and the phone rings and its dh. My relief has a flat and doesn't know when she will be in!!!!! Wonderful!!!!!!! OK extra time to pack and clean up more. Went to grab my new digital camera. Not there. Can't find it anywhere. Oh well maybe I packed it already. Will check when we get to the hotel. DH gets home an hour late, car is all packed and kids are in the car. Lets Go. Its 8:15am. We had a very smooth drive till we got to the border of KY and TN. Big accident. 45minute stand still. Ok. Lets open more presents. (By the way my kids have loved all the great dollar store surprises I wrapped for them. Must do this every time.) Ok accident off to the side on our way. We get to the hotel just after 7pm. Most of KY and TN was heavy rains so it took us a bit longer than usual.
Our hotel is great.

This is the indoor pool at our hotel. Very warm. Our kind of pool.

This is a pic of the outdoor pool. Very cold. We will save this for tomorrow when it is hot.

When we left Detroit it was 72 out and when we steped out in Chattanooga it was 102.

We did have one problem when we got into KY. Nick threw up all over. Car seat and all. Oh boy.

Look at what we had to do to keep Emily from getting out of her car seat.

I love to hear about Road Trips to WDW. We stopped at Look Out Mountain for a few hours too. I found a Cinderella DVD on the side of the road by the Trolley. I figured someone must have opened their vehicle door and it fell out. When we travel, something always falls out the door, or for that matter, where ever we are, something will fall out, food, cans, bottles, you name it. Looking forward to the rest of your trip. Your hotel rocked with the cool pool.

DAY 2

We slept in today. Well if you count 8am sleeping in (WE DO!!!) Had to run to Wal-Mart I forgot sippy cups. Bought a new camera!! Stopped and ate breakfast at I-Hop. I love I-Hop we don't have one near us. After that we went to Look Out Mountain. We took the incline rail way up to the top of the Mountain then look around there. It was awsome.

My 3 kids in front of a Museum. Man do they charge a lot to go to those places. We skipped it. Just looked around outside.

This is the courtyard in our hotel. The kids love the trains.

The other side of the courtyard of our hotel. There are specialty gift shops all around the courtyard. They even have a scrapbook store. I loved it.
choochoo.com is the website for our Chattanooga Hotel. It is so cool.

There is one major problem with this hotel. NO LAUNDRY ROOM!!!!!!! 3 restaurants and 3 pools but no LAUNDRY ROOM.

This evening we will be swimming and hanging out. We are going to Sonics for dinner. (We don't have a Sonics in MI) So this is cool for us. Going to bed early because we want to get on the road by 4am to head to Orlando.
Thats all for now.
Tomorrow: Our drive to the Inlaws house!!!!!!! and our 1 night stay with them.

I love trip reports like this - feels like we're on the trip with you! Would be scared to go up to Lookout Mountain (I'm afraid of heights but it looks beautiful). Your kids are adorable!
