The Laughing Stock at DL

I just noticed the Laughing Stock will be playing at Disneyland Park for one day during our visit. I've never heard of it before, and the Entertainment Schedule does not have a link to click for more information.

Can anyone tell me what it is? I'm trying to figure out if I should build it into our schedule.

The Laughing Stock is a melodrama, comedy performance show that is at the Golden Horseshoe. It's a very entertaining show. You can eat something while you watch the show (as GH is a restaurant), but you do not have to.

We really enjoy it - but, we are "show people" when it comes to enjoying the Park offerings.

Did they change locales? We saw them this last Thanksgiving outside the Golden Horseshoe on the cobblestone patch.

I always make sure to see them, it's very entertaining.

Yeah, Laughingstock is in front of the Golden Horseshoe... or was. They're funny shows, maybe 10 min. They go on throughout the day, and the story continues. One is a dating game, all with audience participation . Let me just say - cross dressing men . Totally hilarious

It was INSIDE, on our trip December 10th through the 15th, complete with Piano and audience participation. Very funny (and restful to get off your feet and eat decent but not great chicken nuggets). Oh, and it was much longer than 10 minutes, I'd say 20-30 minutes. Maybe they change venue depending on season???

I'd recommend catching it.

Laughing Stock is inside the GH on the days that Billy Hill isn't playing and then they move it outside on the other days.

I'm with you, Renee. We thoroughly enjoy Billy Hill, but think that Laughing Stock is lame.

So, do they change the show if it's inside? So far I've seen the "Bank robbery" show and the "Dating game" show. I've also seen one where Sheriff Chlem chases down down 2 "bad guys" on the GH thats usually when the park is super crowded. I'm curious to know if they have a show just for the inside.

I'm not sure. I've only seen the dating game one. We saw it inside last July and then we saw them doing that same one outside as we walked by it last november.

I guess I'll add my opinion of the show. I thought it was okay and was a nice little performance when we had extra time to stop and see it. We don't usually get to watch shows when DS is with us but this was just DH and me for our anniversay so it was nice to see a show for a change. Billy Hill is much better though. If my time was limited I wouldn't put Laughing Stock on my list of things to do but for someone who is going to be there for an extended period of time it might be worth watching at some point.
