What do kids do in the lab when there is not an activity planned? My DD101/2 does play some computer and video games but she is not particularly drawn to them. Bev

My DS lived in the Lab on our previous 2 cruises. Had to drag him out for dinner. Hopefully your kids will hook up with some cruise buddies early on. There is plenty of hanging out space. Also the computers have some great programs for building cities, roller coasters etc. In addition there are CD players with headsets and I can't remember everything else - but never bored.

It seems like they had some art stations, and some interesting 2 person games. My DD always seemed to be at these, the boys were clustered around the large screen playstation. She wanted to go there a lot, so I would say she wasn't bored! Diana

They have board games, too. My son made some friends and they would stay in there late at night playing Risk. He had the best time!

There are TONS of toys and games in the Lab for "free play" time. Last year, my DD was totally enamored of the K'Nex toys (a HUGE assortment) and loved building things. There is PLENTY to keep them occupied. :)

My daughter loved the beading table. Tons of strings, beads, cords, etc. available. Drawing centers, listening stations. There was surprisingly little time that wan't a scheduled activity though. My son in the 10-12 group was disappointed there wasn't more free time to do video games and such. The scheduled things were wonderful, in a mother's opinion.:D
