Yeah for Jedi Training!! I didn't know it existed or we would've checked it out for our boys. Although the 6yr old would probably be too shy. The 2 yr old would've entertained the crowds though!

LOVE the photopass pix. The one of you two kissing and the boys covering their eye is TOO CUTE! As are the sword fighting ones! Loving the TR as much as the dining report! Are you as ready to go back as I am?? I agree with it being crowded. We got there on the 24th and the crowds were awful except at Epcot!

The Minnie Mouse pictures are taken at DHS right out on the street in front of the hat. I think you have to ask for it though. I did.

No, you don't have to be chosen for the Jedi Training to do the Darth photo. They take them right in front of the JTA stage before the show starts, and anyone can do it!

DS7's class field trip was today and we went to Disney On Ice!!

Okay, now that the photopass and field trip excitement is over we can proceed with the TR!


Friday January 23rd. . .


We originally had an 8:00am ADR for breakfast at Tusker House in AK. But as we fought the crowds at DHS on Thursday I was just thinking how tired we were going to be the next morning and how I really didn't want to fight to get everyone up so early! So I called and was able to move it to 10:00.

We got to AK right at opening and headed straight for EE. Still couldn't talk DS7 into riding it. So DS9 and I got in line and DH got us fastpasses so we could ride again later.

After we rode EE we met up with DH and DS7 and all rode Dinosaur together. I think I am the only one in the family that loves Dinosaur!

It was a beautiful sunny warm day and the high eventually got into the lower 70's! AK wasn't too awful crowded. Of course anything would seem much better than the crowds at DHS the day before! After Dinosaur we made our way clear across the park to Tusker House and got checked in for breakfast. We were seated right away. The restaurant was neat looking and the food was good. Not the best food, but still good. The characters were great and the kids enjoyed it a lot.

Hi! I read your TR tonight, and it is great! Great pictures, and your photopass pictures are very good. I love the one with you and your DH kissing & the boys are covering their eyes My boys are two years apart also, 9 & 11. Perfect age difference. Can't wait to hear more!
