Another great report Shelly!! I'm so needing another Disney fix! I can't believe it's only been (exactly) two months since we left for CBR...it seems like forever ago!! If hubby gets this new job that may materialize for him, we'd love to go around Christmas (like 2nd week of December-NOT Christmas week. I couldn't do the crowds or the price, but would LOVE To see Disney at Christmas time)! Otherwise, we'll be Snowbirds again! (Which is still great-I MISS YOU GUYS!!!)

We've thought about going mid December before, but it has just never worked out for us.

I hope you get to go in December and see all the Christmas decorations, but I kind of hope that you will go in January and be a Snowbird again!

I think the "surprise trip" should go down in history as a one-time-only performance! It's one of those once-in-a lifetime memories that can't be beat. So I'm with DS9 - let the whole family be in on the planning for the next trip. And it's never too early to start!

You're probably right, another surprise just wouldn't live up to the first one.

Looks like it's time to start planning and counting down!

I don't think you could keep another trip a secret!

Plus, the boys would be onto you next time.

You are definitely right, keeping that secret for all those months was excruciating!! I don't think I could do it again!

Maybe for the next trip you could keep certain things a surprise. Like a restaurant or show (have you seen La Nouba?) or maybe even where you're staying. The best of both worlds!

That's a good idea! I'll have to start thinking about that. I'm sure we can come up with something. I know they want to go back to one of the kids clubs. They did that in 2008 and loved it!

Those pictures were amazing - I feel like I just visitied. I too have 2 boys (DS8 and DS7). The big surprise for them for our June trip is the Pirate Rooms at CBR. They know about the new pirate themed pools, but have no idea that the rooms even exist...

Thanks for the great trip report! Now I'm more convinced than ever that CBR is the place for our end of January 2010 trip. It will be our first family trip to WDW (DH, DS2, and a DS5 have never been to WDW), and I hope it will be as fun and magical as yours was!

Congrats on your upcoming first family WDW trip!! CBR was where we stayed on our first WDW trip too and as you know by now we love it!

It is pretty likely we will be going to Disney at the end of January 2010 too! Just not sure where we are staying yet. . .

Loved your trip report!!! It reminded me so much of our first trip to WDW - it was January, and we stayed at the CBR, and our boys were about the same ages as your two! Brought back so many happy memories

My boys are now 21 and 23, and we still love to go to WDW together!
