Whew! Finally got all caught up!

Ok- I am super excited that BOTH of your boys got chosen this year! I felt so bad when you told us last year about poor little DS7. He's a trooper though

I love love love the photopass pics of you guys in front of the sorcerer's hat in DHS and the pics of the boys at the training academy. So cute!

And you brought a little tear to my eye when you said that your boys got your pin back What great kids you have Shelly!

Great update and pictures! I never knew they did photopass pics in DTD. See you learn a lot reading trip reports . FOTLK is a great show isn't it? We have been a few times but thinking we need to see Nemo this trip. But there is a part of me that thinks I would rather just see FOTLK again . That Star Wars section in Once Upon a Toy, might be something to avoid with my DS4, thanks for posting. Or if he gets the giftcard on his Bday maybe we can make a trip over there . He already has the storm trooper helmet and the overpriced light saber from Target. That Star Wars Potato head in your picture is cute too. Any tips for getting your DS picked for Jedi Training??

I think they just recently started the photopass in DTD, because it wasn't there last May.

Yes, I think we have bought one of everything Star Wars in that store by now! Build you own lightsaber, Mr. Potato Head, every character, every ship, they even bought that huge R2D2 this time and we had to ship it home!

Tips for Jedi Training - Well, be persistent and don't give up!! Dress him in a Star Wars shirt. Make sure he is excited and jumping up and down and shouting "pick me"! Standing off to the left did the trick for us. I noticed in earlier shows that quite a few got picked from that side. I was nervous when we were standing there because it took a while that time for them to come over to that side, but they did eventually come. Good luck!

All caught up- well I actually caught up last night but laptop kept losing internet connection. I love the pics of the Jedi training. We went to the show 3 times. He jumpedand yelled and didn't get picked the first two times. Our third try was on our last day and it was canceled due to rain at the last minute. My poor baby is still heartbroken that he didn't get to be a part of it. Perhaps next time...sigh.

The EE pics were frightening! That's pretty darn high up there! Glad you didn't lose your camera...so nice of your son to "warn" you too.

Friday January 23rd continued. . .


After our short time in DTD we went back to CBR. We explored the resort a little bit but neither DH or I were actually feeling all that well. I was hoping that we weren't coming down with that virus that was going around down there during Christmas. Luckily neither of us ended up getting sick. We just took it easy for the rest of the day, walked around the resort a little and then just laid around all evening!

Saturday January 24th ~

After a good night's sleep and sleeping in we were all rested up and I was feeling a lot better. We pretty much skipped breakfast and were ready for lunch early. We had no real plans until later in the day, so we headed out around 10:30 to leisurely make our way to the CBR food court for lunch at 11:00. We took our time and explored the Caribbean Cay island and checked out the new CBR pool!

Zero entry is such a great feature!

Soon it was time for lunch and it was getting warmer by the minute and we knew we'd be swimming a little later! It ended up being 78-80 that day!

Saturday January 24th continued. . .

Next up was lunch at the CBR Food Court! Everything was very good, fresh and hot!
