Day 7 December 15, 2000
We get up early as usual Mom decides not to join us at the Magic Kingdom as she is really tired. We head to the bus and it is pulling away as we get there. This is the first time we had to wait for a bus and it was only for 10 minutes. We get to the Magic Kingdom by 9:15am and go to Tony's for Breakfast. There is absolutely no wait for a table and the food is great! I had the cinnamon French toast, Sean has a breakfast fritata and Brenden has cereal and a banana. They also bring a huge cinnamon roll for the table that was terrific.
After breakfast we head straight back to Dumbo. I get to ride this time with Brenden and he just loves it! Next is the carousel again and Sean takes him while I make a potty stop. They end up riding twice because there is noone around this morning. We go on Peter Pan and Brenden is finally not being afraid before every ride. Next we head over and ride the tea-cups and Buzz. We walk across and ride Jungle Cruise and take the train back to mainstreet. We have done everything we wanted to do and head back to the hotel to get my mom. She isnâÂÂt in the room and I decide to do some laundry while we wait for her. I get 3 loads done in no time at all and mom shows up and we head over to the marketplace. Brenden really wants Mcdonalds for lunch so we go there. I was sick of hamburgers, so I had a pizza. It was really good! We shopped the afternoon away and were literally exhausted by the end of the evening.
We head back to the room to pack and get ready for our return flight tomorrow morning.
The weather channel is predicting another round of snow and ice for Chicago on Saturday. That's what we get for laughing earlier in the week. WE pack up and I cross my fingers that we get out before the storm as we head to sleep.
