At a snow play area like donner summit? I did that a couple times when I was little.

Yep! At a place just like that!!! We slid down the mini slopes and stuff. It was alot of fun! Not anywhere I would want to live though! I love california weather (most fo the time).


Chrissie we seem to be having some issues.....
You cant enlarge your pictures and I cant seem to make mine smaller!

oh well, guess it just wasn't meant to work for me. I have a question, Matt will probably be the only one that can relate to this. After a snow do you have the idiots that don't think they need to clean the snow off of their windows, or just clean a small section of their windshield. And their basically just driving around in a cave, because they can see nothing.

I do that all of the time. Well sometimes. If I don't pull my car in, it is in the shade and I go out the drive way to the north east, down my road to the west, and then on the main road to the south. So there I can get assistance from the sun. It gets below freezing about 300 plus nights a year so frost is common.

Not snow, I try to get all of it offf except the roof and bumpers. or sides if the snow sticks to them. But none on the glass, lights, hood or trunk.


With frost I only let me car idles 1 minute. All modern engines can be driven after a minute of idle. It may not be comfortable in the cabin but the car is ready to go. So I don't waste gas/emmisions.

But the defroster may not be able to take frost off the interior of the windshield or it may be too thick on the outside. So I try to get the car into the sun.
