Oh my goodness--those shirts are fantastic!! I love the silhouette of the vintage Mickey and Minnie. Mind me asking which DISigner you got it from, if you did get it from them. They look great!!

Great stuff for the treat bags. When are you giving them to them?

I got the shirts directly from the Disney store online- you create it t-shirts, tanks etc...you pick the color, the image and the personalization. It was so much fun ordering them!

I'll be giving them their treat bags either the night before (if I can't wait any longer!) or the morning of... personally I like the night before!

Thank you for joining! Why, of course my BF has good taste... But really, I love the Muppets too and when you see a pic of him wearing this you will probably agree it is perfect for him.

It really is coming together finally, and I can't wait to try all of the places I've made ADRs for, some old, some new- it will be great! I promise to give lots of details and pics!

Only 12 DAYS!!!

Man, does it feel great to say that... So here we are, only one weekend left in between and then we're on our way. Looks like it will go quickly too as this coming Thursday is my Birthday so next weekend is fully planned. Dinner with my BFF on Saturday and dinner at my mom's house with the whole family on Sunday afternoon.

Enough about that though, it's time for PLANNING! I've made my lists (clothes, toiletries, sundries, snacks, etc) and I've even done my pre-packing. I put everything going into my suitcase in a designated area in my closet. All the laundry is done that I need for the trip and I've done all of my shopping for the extras. I did find that I no longer have any gym socks so I will need to pick some up the next time I'm out. Somehow they just seem to disappear in this house.

As for the kids, I've got confidence that my DD and her BF will be ready but my DS is another story... I've got to pack for him as well. So, I've got his stuff layed out, but there will be some clothes that I will have to wait for because he will need them in the next week and a half. He's recently gone through a growth spurt and doesn't have as many clothes to choose from!

Onto the actual trip, my BF and I have been talking about where we'd like to stop for dinner on our way down the first day. We watch the show Man Vs. Food and we remembered that he went to a place we might like to try... Gladys Knight and Ron Winans' Chicken and Waffles!! It's in Atlanta just off the highway so I think we are going to try and stop. Check out their menu if you want to salivate on your keyboard...

Anyway, I will have to go get ready now... my DD and I have scheduled massages for today, and we're planning to schedule another after we're back. Gotta love the local massage school and cheap massages!!

By the sounds of it, you're pretty darned organized!! Besides the sock-eating-dryer you have (we have one too) I had to stop and get socks the day before we left....I couldn't believe I hadn't even thought of that! In the summer when we go, we always wear flip flops or sandals, but something this time told me to take our running shoes, so glad I did!!!

Good luck with the packing and how nice that you have your birthday coming up and you get to celebrate that right before you leave......enjoy my friend!!

I have a feeling it's going to drag... Thanks for the good wishes though- I'm getting so anxious. I couldn't even sleep last night trying to figure out how the heck I'm going to fit all of the counter services in that I want to try when we have so many darn table services booked!! I actually talked to DBF this morning about cancelling Les Chefs and going to WPE for dinner on Tuesday. I guess we'll see. I guess I'm not as organized as I'd hoped!

And I will definitely let you know how the Chicken & Waffles place turns out to be if we go there!!
