Thanks for answering my questions....I'm even more excited to go now....I never thought that DS might be able to do a little slide but it looks like we can try it!

They have another one that they can just sit and go down with out the tube, it is pretty small and jackjack spent tons of time there.

Looks like a nice day at TL. I have always wanted to go... maybe next trip.

I know, I understand that it is disneyworld but that doesn't mean it is totaly safe

May 5 Seaworld
I have to preface this chapter by saying that I love Seaworld and we have now been to all the existing Seaworld's in the US. This chapter may take a dark turn but it had nothing to do with Seaworld it all had to do with my state of mind on this day.
We got up and went to Sizzler for breakfast and then made it to Seaworld at 9. I had bought our tickets on line so no lines at all to get in. As soon as we went through the gates we saw Shamu and of course had to go meet him.

DH and I had ridden Kraken in San Anotonio and couldn't wait to ride it again and we were excited that Violet was tall enough to ride it this time. We went straight there, Violet and I went first and had no wait. It was just as great as we remembered. We came out and swapped with dh. Then we went to Journey to Atlantis. Again, no wait, the girls took the front row and I was in the 2nd row. This ride is pretty fun and has a few surprises that I won't ruin for anyone. DH got some great pics of us.

The girls definately got wetter sitting in the front row and I didn't get too bad. Next dh rode with them and then we went to the Sealion and otter show. We were sitting near the front and it was soo hot in the sun. There was a mime there that kept us entertained before the show started, he was really funny. The show was entertaining, the kids really liked it.

From here we went through the penguin area on the way to the dolpin show.

After the penguins we watched the dolphin show. The dolphins are definatley one of my favorites, although I thought this show was just okay, they spent a lot of time on the acrobats and not as much on the dolphins. I had a hard time taking pictures because jackjack was on my lap, but I got a few good ones.

Next we headed over to the Orca show, we got there pretty early and while we were waiting to get seats, dh went to get some snacks. A pretzel, some doritos, a pepsi and a diet pepsi for me. The girls wanted to sit in the front for the splash zone and I didn't, so dh and the girls went up to the front and I went in the top bleachers. I was a little ticked off at dh because I had just told him how hard it was to take pictures with jackjack and that I didn't want to sit in the splash zone and he just went up there without even looking back. He eventually saw where I went and came up and took jackjack down front with him. The orca show was VERY crowded and we were lucky to get there so early. I got some good pictures since I had no one on my lap.

Then dh showed up with jackjack and when I would try to take pictures he would stick his hand up in front of the camera. It was a good thing dh brought jackjack up when he did because then the audience started getting soaked. I saw people running out with babies and I was a little surprised people sat in the splash zone with little babies, I guess they didn't read the signs. Here's what the girls looked like afterwards and you really can't tell from the picture how wet they were.

JackJack had fallen asleep before the show was over. We walked around the park looking at the different exhibits, we saw the dolphin nursery. The baby dolphins were very cute but I couldn't get a very good picture of them. We got some ice cream and we stopped in Shamu's happy harbor and the girls rode the little roller coaster and another little ride. There was a huge climbing/play area but we didin't stay here very long because we had lots of things to do still. We went to the sea lion/seal area and watched people feeding them. They were so cute and would do lots of things to draw attention to themselves.

DH and Violet really wanted to go back to the next Orca show so we went back to watch it again. DH and Violet sat up in the splash zone again and Dash and jackjack sat with me. Dash did not want to get wet again. This is when the day really starts to take a turn for the worse. DH had let jackjack bring his squirt bottle fan in with him before I got there to stop him and he kept squirting people around us. He really did not want to sit through another show so I told Dash to go tell dh we were leaving and we would meet him after the show. Then we left. We saw a mama duck and her babies they were very cute.

It was about this time that I really wanted some Advil because I was having killer cramps (sorry tmi) I was annoyed at dh for staying through the second show when only violet wanted to sit through another one. I took Dash to see the Clydesdale horses. I wished dh was with us so I could get some pictures of the kids petting the horse, but since I was holding jackjack so he could pet the horse I couldn't take any pictures. We headed back to the Orca stadium so we could meet up with dh and the show was finally over. I told him I needed to stop at the bathroom, and when I went to buy something from the machine, it ate my quarters. I went out to ask dh for a quarter and when he saw me coming out of the bathroom he started walking off so I had to yell at him to stop. I asked him for a quarter and he gave me one but the machine did the same thing. I decided to go try a different bathroom but neither of us had any quarters. We stopped at one of the places you could buy pictures and asked to get change for a dollar. The lady said she couldn't give us change unless we bought something but the concession stand could. So we went over there and they said the same thing, we can't give you change unless you buy something. I was getting so mad, all I wanted was 1 stinking quarter. DH bought an icee, got some quarters and I went to the bathroom to take care of things. When I came back dh and the kids had drank all the icee. This was one of those days where I had hardly had anything to eat or drink and I was in a lousy mood and to come back and see they had finished the icee already was just the last straw. I was so ticked at all of them. We hung out there by a fountain for a little while longer as Jackjack had found some birds to chase. Violet wanted to go on kraken again so dh decided to send me with her, I think he was trying to get rid of me as I wasn't the most enjoyable person to be around at that moment. We went over but the ride was down so we came back to see if dash wanted to go on Atlantis, she didnt' because she didn't want to get wet so Violet and I went on. For some reason, I let her talk me into going in the front row. There was no line so I didn't have a lot of time to contemplate this decision. I got so wet, I could have gone swimming in my clothes and staid drier. I was so miserable I vowed never to ride that ride again. DH took Violet this time and I told him she planned to take him in the front and he better go with her. While we waited dash decided she did want to go again so when they got back Dh took dash and violet on. This time they sat in the back and Dash came back completely dry. Kraken was going again, but I just wasn't in the mood for anything so dh took violet on, again no wait. When they came off, I could tell they wanted to go again, but I was done. I told them I had waited for them through the orca show, 2 times on atlantis and once on kraken and I wasn't waiting anymore, I was hot, tired, thirsty, and hungry and I was ready to go have dinner. So we left, but not without stopping at the giftshop first. Our plan at been to go to Universal's citywalk and go to Hard Rock Cafe. It took us forever to get there in the traffic, then once we got there the wait was going to be like 40min. So dh went back to the bar and got a glass of water and a pina colada for me. He knew how to calm the savage beast. When we finally got to our table it was after 8 and the kids were hungry and tired. We put in our orders and it took forever to get our food, I think it was close to 9 before we got our food, jackjack fell asleep before it came and dash looked ready to. I can't remember eating my food because I was so hungry it was gone in minutes. Luckily going back to our place was no problem and we went in and went straight to bed.

I've actually got him to admit it after I caught him walking out of the bathroom at a department store and going in the wrong direction! I followed him detective like over to the book/magazine aisle where he casually began flipping through a magazine. Didn't look lost to me! Your kiddos are adorable and look like they are having a lot of fun. And it looks like your hubby redeemed himself at the end of the night. Can't wait for next update!

May 6 DTD/Beaches and Cream/Epcot

We didn't rush to get up after our late night the night before. We had breakfast at Golden Corral and then headed to Downtown Disney. We told the girls instead of looking at every shop in all the parks we would spend part of a day at DTD doing our souveniour shopping. DH's sunglasses had broken the day before so he came into the World of Disney long enough to buy sunglasses and crocs. After all of us never complained about our feet and he had 3 blisters from his running shoes he broke down and bought crocs. I was a little jealous as he now had mickey crocs and I didn't. Then he took JackJack to Once Upon a Toy to make a light saber. The girls and I shopped, I got Jackjack a tshirt and myself an antenna ball. Dash bought a white minnie mouse shirt and skirt that was red with white polka dots, it was very cute. She also decided for her ears she wanted a headband that had minnie ears, the ears are covered in black sequins and has a read sparkly bow. I think she decided this because since it is a headband it can be used for every day wear. She has worn this whole outfit to school twice and to church once and always with the ears. Violet bought a pink and navy cheerleader jacket that had minnie on it. I didn't see ears I wanted for jackjack and they didn't have the ones violet had seen in here before. I asked about name embroidry and they told me to go the Christmas store. I stopped in the toy store to tell dh we were heading to the christmas store. Violet picked what she wanted and I found one for jackjack and when they told me it was $8 to do the name I think I fainted. This is where I didn't really listen to the people on the disboards. I had remembered something about this and that at MK you could still get it done for free. I really wish that I had taken the time to look for our mickey ears when we were there, but nothing I could do about it now. So, I left the ears with them and they were supposed to be ready in an hour. Back to the toy store where dh was finishing up the light saber. I took some pictures in front of the toy store.

Then dh decided to buy one of the $5 mickey light sabers so they would have two and jackjack liked it better than the $20 starwars one, but dh had a great time putting it together. Then they had to try them out.

JackJack liked to push it back in and then spin and fling to make the light saber come out and he did this one time just as a little girl and mom came around the corner and he hit the little girl in the head, I felt so bad and apologized. The mom seemed understanding but of course the little girl was crying We went back to the toy store because I still wanted to get mr. potatoe head so the kids played and I packed and repacked a box about 4 times but I managed to get buzz lightyear, mr incredible, darth vader, and the storm trooper. These JackJack will get for his birthday later this month. We still had a little time until the ears would be ready so we went down to look at the boats. Then I went to get our ears and I went picked them up and came back and guess what dh and the kids were no where to be found. Honestly you think dh could wait for a few minutes where I left him. I looked at the rainforest cafe this time and didn't see them there, looked everywhere nearby but couldn't find them. I went back to where I left them and they eventually turned up. I can't remember where they went though. Hear are JackJack and Violet with their ears.

DH took the kids to the car and I stopped at Basin to buy my mom a mother's day gift.

Then we were off to the Beach resort and beaches and cream. We got there and parked and after asking multiple people finally found beaches and cream. The wait to get in was 45min so dh decided to get something from the takeout window walk to epcot and come back and get seated, thinking the wait would be less later as it was about lunchtime. So he got a chocolate shake for everyone to share (except me, I don't really like chocolate shakes) and we headed to epcot. No flame throwing please, the only reason we were going back was to get Jasmine's autograph and I was not going to pay $11 to park and walk all the way across the park to get one autograph. It was a nice short walk and the question was would Jasmine be there today, it was our last chance and Dash had wanted to meet her the most. On the way through France we came across Belle and almost no line.

Then on to Morroco and woohoo she was there The line was long but the girls got in and dh took jackjack and went to get some kaki gori for me since I didn't have any shake. Again, we were in luck as they cut the line off behind us. Dash was getting a postcard signed for her friend by Jasmine too so she was doubly excited.

Jasmine and Aladdin were great, she was so sweet and he was very playful and had fun with the kids.
With that mission accomplished we headed back to beaches and cream and were told the wait would be 45 min still. But, we got in earlier I think the girl working felt bad for us since she remembered us being their earlier and let us in. DH and Dash shared the No Way Jose.

Violet and I did our best but we couldn't finish, even with jackjack helping. So Dh and Dash finished our too.

I should add that dh and dash are huge ice cream fans. DH eats more ice cream in one serving than I could ever eat so it wasn't a surprise that they managed to eat all of this. A person at the table next to ours got the banana split and it was the biggest banana split I had ever seen. I really wanted to take a picture but I thought that would be strange taking pictures of other people's food. So we finished up and went back to our resort. Since we didn't have any plans until dinner we went swimming. DH swam with the kids and I sat and read. I was slightly annoyed as someone was smoking a cigar just down from us. I would have moved but I found the only chairs that were somewhat shaded.
This was a great day for Dash as she started to swim on her own, with no waterwings. She got a little too confident and after dh got out of the pool she decided to swim across all by herself without telling us. She managed to do it, but dh was mad at her because no one was there to help her if she got in trouble. Of course she was upset because she was doing it to make him proud, you know how these things tend to go. So we headed back to our room with Dash crying and saying she was never going to swim again and me tyring to put out fires. Afte getting showered and dressed we headed to Giordano's for dinner. The girls didn't want the stuffed pizza so we had the regular pizza and it was sooooo good. Lots of toppings and lots of cheese. Dash likes to take her pepperoni off and eat it seperatly and she had about 15 pieces off of one square slice of pizza. We finished dinner, brought pizza home and just had a relaxing evening in, the kids and dh watched tv and I got a chance to read my book.

Thanks, I love my camera and I love all the zoom that it has. I was so happy to finally meet Jasmine so we didn't have that hanging over our heads.

I know, it was hard for her to understand that swimming across the pool where she couldn't touch was a little risky, if she had done it in shallower water, it would have been better. Especially since she only told violet what she was doing and violet wasn't paying any attention to her. Yes, thankfully everything turned out fine.

May 7: Animal Kingdom
We had breakfast in our room and headed to Animal Kingdom. We got there around 8:40 and there was quite a line outside as they weren't letting people in yet. But, since I read the disboards I knew that I could walk through Rainforest Cafe and there was another turnstile over there. I think there were only 2 families in front of us.

After a few minutes they let us through and we got part way through the park and we were stopped again by castmembers and ropes. We got to see the opening show with Minnie, Mickey, Pluto and Goofy

Then it was rope drop time and we followed the castmembers to Everest. The girls and I got in line while dh got some fastpasses. We were in the first train of the day
Dh took jackjack to look at monkeys again and got some cute pictures of the baby again.

DH took his turn with the girls and I headed to triceratops spin with jackjack. DH and the girls came over and rode primevel whirl a few times. I don't know how many times jackjack and I rode triceratops spin but he would have ridden it all day. We wanted to see the 10am showing of Nemo so we all headed over there about 9:50, no lines and no wait. got in and got pretty good seats. We loved this show it was amazing. I've never seen a show like it. I would definately watch it again. The show is long though, longer than I thought it would be. We left here and went back and rode Everest with our fastpasses. Then we booked it over to watch festival of the lion king. DH had stopped and bought pretzels, doritos and frozen lemonade on the way ane we weren't thinking about not being able to take food in so we wrapped the pretzels up and left them in the stroller and left the lemonade knowing it wouldn't be frozen when we got back. This show was really fun and not at all what I was expecting, I thought it would be more like a broadway version of lion king and it wasn't at all. The monkey acrobats were amazing. This will be on our must do list too. We left and the kids were disappointed to see the lemonade no longer frozen but it was still good. We stopped and got a coke for Violet. Then we came upon Lilo and Stitch, the line wasn't too bad so we got in and luckily they cut the line off right after us.

Then we saw the hairwrap stand nearby and went to check it out. The girls had been wanting to do this the whole trip and they almost did it at DTD but no one was at the booth doing it. Today was their lucky day they each picked four colors and then they got the matching four colors in beads Violets ended up costing $28 and Dash's $30.

After we finished up with the hair wraps we went to do the Pangini Forest Trail.

Then we got to the hippos

Then we got to the gorillas. These were amazing. We spent a lot of time watching them. At one point we saw a couple of the males and one grapped a big tree branch and we thought he was going to hit the other male but he didn't and then he threw it at the people watching them. The person working said that we were blocking their view of the female.

This was in the gorilla habitat and I just thought it was pretty.

We had finished everything we had wanted to so we went to head out. JackJack was all tuckered out.

Outside of the gates we ran into Flik

Rafiki and Timon were also out there, but we had already met them so we just left. We had leftover pizza for lunch and then went to swim. One of the pools at our resort had a slide and we hadn't swam there yet so we decided to try that pool out.

DH really wanted to go back to Universal's citywalk and go to Bubba Gumps for dinner. I had a shrimp ceaser salad and dh had clam chowder and salad because the alabama mud pie was for dessert. DH and I ate at one in Kona and had had this dessert and it was one of his favorites. When we had it before it was a huge slice but this time it was served in a small round and they brought us plates a a knife to cut it. It was probably 4-5 inches across. I didn't take my camera with us. It has chocolate and vanilla ice cream (I think ) a chocolate cookie crust and peanuts and caramel on top with whip cream. It was so yummy. Then we checked out the Universal store and I was so tempted to get Thing 1, Thing 2, and Thing 3 shirts for the kids but we didn't.
We headed home and got ready for our last day at the parks.
Next up:I finally meet another diser, sort of.
