The Imaginary Vacation.....is no longer imaginary! (7/20-Daily plans w/ADRs)

He is soooo cute!! (not that I think his pain is cute....) I teach 5th graders so he looks like he would be such fun to have in class.

Trust me, the look is totally exaggerated! He is so dramatic and loves the attention his antics get him. As far as his teachers go, well.....let's just say they either love him or hate him!

Here are our final plans. (Well, final as of today. No doubt I'll be changing it around again before the vacation!)

Sunday 10/11
Arrival Day
We'll be arriving around 3 or 4:00. After check in and maybe a quick dip in the pool we'll head to Downtown Disney and The Lego Store. I'm sure this will not be our only trip there this week. My kids could spend an entire day at Lego! After an hour or two at Lego, we'll head over to Poly and dinner at Kona, then we'll find a nice spot on the Poly beach and settle in for Wishes. I think this will be a great way to get us in the Disney mood on our first night there.

Dinner: Kona 7:00pm
Wishes 9:00

Monday 10/12
Hollywood Studios 9am-7pm
This is the only day where I didn't get the time I wanted for my ADR. Strangely, it's for lunch at Sci-Fi--not one I was expecting to have an issue with. There was nothing available until 2:00. Shouldn't be a problem waiting until 2:00 to eat though; I'll just be sure to bring plenty of granola bars that day!

Breakfast: in townhouse
Lunch: Sci Fi 2:00pm
Dinner: Spaghetti dinner at townhouse--I'm not wild about cooking on vacation, but this is the only dinner I'm cooking and it's an easy one. I'll just bring frozen, already prepared spaghetti sauce in our cooler to microwave and boil some spaghetti. It will probably be nice to relax and have dinner in front of the TV after a busy day at the park. At least, that's what I'm telling myself! Really trying not to go overboard on my spending and even one cheap dinner will help.

Tuesday, 10/13
MNSSHP 4:00pm
The plan here is to relax all day and be ready to enter MK at 4 on the dot. We'll sleep in then head to Chef Mickey's for breakfast. Not sure what we'll do after that--either back to DTD and Lego (and hopefully something besides Lego!) or head back to Windsor Hills and swim in the resort pool. We'll make sandwiches at the townhouse right before we leave for MNSSHP, and eat CS at Magic Kingdom for a quick dinner.

Breakfast: Chef Mickey's 10:00am
Lunch: Sandwiches in condo
Dinner: CS at Magic Kingdom

Wednesday, 10/14
DisneyQuest & Downtown Disney 11:30am
The kids LOVED Whispering Canyon last time and I'm hoping that the antics are just as fun at breakfast. Sarah Anne and Will are already planning to ask for ketchup, even though we won't actually need it for breakfast. After breakfast we'll head straight to DTD and DQ. We probably won't be very hungry for lunch, but can grab a quick CS meal when we get hungry--hopefully we can fit Earl of Sandwich somewhere in our plans! Dinner reservations at Fulton's, but I'm a little worried we might be full after a late breakfast and lunch. I don't want a late dinner though because we have an early day the next day at Epcot.

Breakfast: Whispering Canyon 10:00
Lunch: Downtown Disney CS
Dinner: Fulton's crab house 6:10

Thursday, 10/15
Epcot FW: 9am-7pm; WS: 11am-9pm
I'm so excited about the F&WF! I can't wait to try out all of the snacks they'll have. I'm hoping my MIL will come into town on this day and will be willing to babysit so Bill and I can go back to Epcot for dinner and some adult time at the F&WF. We already have a date night planned for Friday, but I think she'd be willing to babysit 2 nights. The big kids are getting to the age where they're pretty easy, and Kate will be ready for bed early after a day in the park.

Breakfast: In townhouse
Lunch: Coral Reef 12:30
Dinner: Bistro de Paris 6:30pm

Friday, 10/16
Open Day
I'm nervous about having an entirely open day on the schedule! But I'm sure we can find something to do...sleep in, then a leisurely breakfast in the townhouse. We can hit the resort pool, head back to DTD or take a walk on the boardwalk. I'd love to do the hot air balloon ride in DTD, so that's an option. We might decide to hit Blizzard Beach or putt putt golf or even visit another park...we'll see. I made a ressie for T Rex for lunch, but there's a chance that could change, depending what we decide to do that day. The kids really want to try T Rex though. Date night and dinner reservations are at the Yachtsman. My thought is to have dinner at the Yachtsman, then head over to Jelly Rolls for the dueling piano show. Can you walk from Yachtsman to Jelly Rolls?

Breakfast: In townhouse
Lunch: T Rex 12:00
Dinner: Date night: Yachtsman 7:00

Saturday, 10/17
Animal Kingdom 9am-6pm
Last day and we're planning to head to AK. Since this park is closest to Windsor Hills, we might go on back to the townhouse for lunch and a quick rest or swim in the townhouse pool for lunch, or we might just have CS at AK. I'm not sure if my MIL and her friend will be joining us at AK or not today, but I made reservations at the AK Rainforest Cafe for all of us for dinner. That way, we can stay until closing and then go straight to dinner and Sally and Linda can meet us there even if they don't go to AK with us. My other thought was to do California Grill and watch Wishes as a farewell dinner on our last night, but since we're seeing Wishes from the beach at Poly on the first night I think we'll be okay to miss. Also I think we'll want the more relaxed atmosphere of Rainforest Cafe after a day in the park.

Breakfast: In townhouse
Lunch: CS at AK or back to townhouse
Dinner: Rainforest Cafe 6:30pm

Sunday, 10/18
