OMG!!! FlyerFan...I am from Tamaqua, too! Well, I live here now, but grew up there and still go back occaisionally! What's weird..is that I had a home I rented out down here and when they were moving out (we were selling) I found out the one guy was from Tamaqua too. And apparently there are 2 more people living here from Tamaqua as well! Small world!

Wish I would have bought either more points or done another seperate contract at the same time with same amt. of points. We weren't thinking of the future and kids and grandkids (the grandkids part is still a long, long ways off). We'd like to be able to go every year and send their families every year too. Maybe we could still do that if we add on some more. We've done 1 add on, and maybe..hopefully..will do another one in the next few years.

I wish I would have known about this board earlier. I "found" it about the same time I was buying points. If I had known about the board when I watched the VWL go up, I would have "looked into" ownership. We didn't want to own a timeshare.

Add me to the "Iwish I bought sooner club". I stayed away due to such busy vacations( no time for business in WDW ) and not wanting to deal with pushy timeshare people. Dragged the whole family to the tour and was hooked/ convinced that we would buy in. before walking out the door. And no pressure at all to buy,just the facts. We will be infected with add-on itis very soon.

The classic "regret" is always, "I wish I had bought sooner."

Well, I'm thankful I bought when I did. I discovered DVC in Southern Living Magazine, of all places, and ended up purchasing our first contract at BWV sight unseen. We purchased our second contract at BWV when they were about to sell out and go up in price and BOY I'm glad we did!!

An earlier post has given me an idea... we have two children but plan to adopt another soon. We NEED a third contract so we can be fair to the kids in our wills!!!

1) I wish I could have bought sooner. $50/pt (I think..may have been cheaper) was a killer deal compared to now, however you can't beat BCVs / BWs location...yet!

2) When I bought into BCV, I wish I bought into 50 more points (185pts always short us by a couple days )
