The I must be totaly carzy solo 2009 trip report, WDW Day 3

I know I haven't posted on this for a while and I definitely need to finish this one before April, so like Julie Powel and the Julie?Julia project I am setting myself a date, I want to finish this by March at the latest. My next part will be probably about the craziest day of my trip and then longest, the day I attempted the Ultimate Magic Kingdom Touring Plan.
Glad to hear again from you! :surfweb: Waiting patiently!

Today was my second day at WDW and what have I decided to do make an attempt at the Ultimate Magic Kingdom Touring Plan. What is that some of you may be asking it's one of the plans for touring the MK from Touring Plans.com (Ding!) that has you ride/ see every single operating MK attraction in one day. The plan can be found at this link.

My original plan had a breakfast reservation at Kona Cafe for 8:40 Am and the Mk opens at 9:00 Am so I decided to arrive early for my breakfast reservation. I showed up at about 10 to 8 and was pretty much seated right away. After a wonderful breakfast of Tonga Toast, it was time to head over to the MK for the rest of the day. I got there a few minutes before the opening show, which I have never seen before as I usually end up arriving after it's happened.

After seeing the Lilly Belle pull in for the show and the Family of the day opening the MK it was time to head off to my first ride of the day. Dumbo the flying elephant (I can't remember the last time I was on this ride.)

Up next was my first ever ride on the Astro Orbiter. Which was a ton of fun, and I am deffenitly going to do it again. Up Next was the many adventures of Wine the pooh, then snow white, The Mad Tea Party, a side trip to poohs playful spot, a ride on the carousel nad some where in there a ride on Peter Pan.

After conquering Fantasyland it was time to head to the wilds of Frountierland for Splash Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain. On Splash Mountain I was in the front row with a family in the rows behind me. Going up the lift hill beside the big drop I got soaked by one of the water Canons and was afraid it was a sign of things to come.

Ok I know I haven't updated this in a while I really need to get back to this one.

Also if you look in my sig you can see that I have a trip to DLR coming up and I am planing to go on one of the Alaskan cruise4 next summer if you are still following me and want to stop in on those two please do and subscribe as I will update those ones as soon as I finish this one.

Unfortunitly I don't currently have the picture from splash mountain on my computer right now, but lets just say I got totality soaked.

Up next was a ride on Big Thunder mountain where I got to dry off. After that it was off to the Hunted Mansion. Then it was off to Mickey's Towntown Hall of fame where I had to go and do one of the charter meet and greats the shortest of the lines was the princess with only a 15 minute wait compared to the faeries which was a 45 minute wait. They were actually very good with me being a single guy on my own. First up was Cinderella.

Then Belle

After that I grabbed a FastPass for Buzz Light year, grabbed some lunch at cosmic rays and then headed across the park for Pirates of the Caribbean. I took the right hand side Que as it was empty and ended up on my own boat which was really really weird.

Great photos - I love the ones of Mickey and Minnies houses - wont be long before they are gone for good :(

Up next was a ride on the Jungle Cruise I had a great skipper that at first I thought was going to be a not very good one, his name was Hugh and he was from London, England. It was actually very interesting heiring the Jungle Cruise done with a British accent. After that it was time to play around with Shrunken Ned's Junior Jungle Cruise.

Then I garbed a dole whip before heading into the abomination that is the Tiki room in WDW, yes I called it that. The one in Disneyland is 10 time the show that is in WDW, Zazu and Iiogo have to go. Then it was time for a ride on Aladdin's magic carpet ride.

Then came a walking tour of the Swiss Family Robinson Tree House, after that I headed for the Country Bear Jamboree.

After Country bears it was time for a trip around Tom Sawyer Island

After touring Tom Sawyer Island it was time for Story time with Belle, flowed by the castle stage show (Dream along with Mickey) , and Move it shake it Celebrate it.

First up was a journey around the Rivers of America on the Liberty Belle river boat. Then cam e Dinner at Columbia Harbor house. After that it was over to the Hall of Presidents, since I am Canadian this isn't really one of the attractions that is a complete show stopper for me but it is actually done very well and you can learn a lot about the history of the office of the President of the United Sates. After seeing the new version of the Hall of Presidents it was time to do a brief walk through of Arel's grotto which had a line of 50 minutes at 7:30 at night to meet Areal, thankfully I didn't need to wait in that one. Then it was over to Mickey's Philharmagic, flowed by Small World and Buzz lightyear's astro blaster. Then it was time for Whishe's, I actually got a spot not to far from the castle and right under the line that Tink flies down. I actully got into a conversation with another guest about where she flies (Tink that is) and I told her that it was right above us.

After Wishes I was in the final stretch for the Ultimate Touring plan of the Magic Kingdom. My first stop was the Carousel of Progress, immediately flowed by the Tomorwoland Speedway, then into the last showing of Monsters Inc Laugh Floor. Then the attraction I dreaded most of all Stich's great escape, after that it was over to the Frontierland shooting arcade and that was the last attraction for the touring plan my total time was 14 hours and 16 minutes, I had missed a few attractions like the main street cars and trolley and the WDW Railroad but I had dome most of them.

Now I was on my own time and it was extra magic hours the MK would be open until one that night so I headed over to the Hunted Maison as I thought it would be the perfect attraction to go one at Midnight, after that I took one last ride on Big Thunder Mountain for the night called it a day and headed back to Pop for the night. The next day was going to be a little more relaxing as had Dinner reservation for Tusker House that night.

Today I slept in as I was going to be heading to Typhoon Lagoon for the day. I made it to Typhoon for rope drop so after getting a locker and changing I had to wait a little bit to get into the actul actual water park itself. I didn't take any pictures as I didn't bring my camera with me nor did I have a water prof one with me. I spent most of the day in the Lazy River just relaxing. Around 3:00 or so I headed back to my room to get changed and head over to DAK for dinner at Tusker House.
I arrived just a little bit after the parade had finished and found out that they were trying out something new, having a few of the attractions stay open a couple more hours, past park closing.

After getting a couple of Photopass pic by the tree of life
