Wishes at the Poly!!!! The beach is so peaceful.
I'm here to follow along! Great plans and BTW the more pics, the merrier ! Also, how far is Tampa back to Orlando, do you do this by taxi (cost ?) or by car (friends?). I may be interested in doing this and stopping to visit relatives, too, this time around.
Morning Kat ! Some of the threads on the Budget board have fridge, toaster and coffee pot ! Maybe you could check it out or you could pass it on if you buy one !! Just my thoughts dear friend !!![]()
I'm here!
Hey you check out of Pop the day I check in! We just miss each other there! I do hope I run into you at some point over the trip and can say Hi!
Are you a big coffee fan? If so I think I'd do the coffee maker. Gosh WDW coffee is so awful. I am giong to go through withdrawals I think. I remember at Pop last time mixing half coffee/half hot cocoa and it was okay. Straight coffee, blech!
And I think watching from Poly would be nice, even if you are doing it again later in the week. Or going to DTD would be fun too. Get some candy goodies after dinner.
Sounds great! I can't wait to hear more of your itinerary to see if our paths may cross!

Great start so far - we're also taking a JetBlue flight out of JFK on 8/18 - maybe we'll see you in the airport!!
By the way, my dh was born and raised in brooklyn (bensonhurst)
Hi Kat!!
Just checkin' in. It's been a long busy week. The temps and humidity in Hoosierville have been great the last 2 days. Although I am still doin' B&J ice cream. How's it in Brooklyn?
What time is your flight? (If you don't mind my asking), My DH is a bensonhurst boy too!!!!
Listen, I appropriate 80% of my TR ideas from other people - chances are, the whole "look back through pics" was someone else's to start!Thanks...it's a bit a la your idea, but I needed filler lol.
Yay! Fun airport, tooMy friends L, M & their daughter H are picking me up. It was about $50 less to fly to Tampa than Orlando and I get to see my friends!!!
I like either one of these - and you can play it by ear!I am considering watching wishes from one of the monorail resorts if we last until 10pm. Or we can hit DTD for some shopping. I dunno. I need some help.
Thats day one in a nutshell . Feedback welcome!
Girl...Wishes from the Poly beach is to DIE for. do it.
But the GF doesn't have Lapu Lapus. But, you're going to be at GF...you have a perfect view from there too!
I'm here now. I'm caught up.
Will you be able to get into your room before 3pm?
As for what to do that first night? DTD is always nice.....
Yeah for a solo trip! I have one of my own coming up in Oct and like reading about other people's adventures. Add me to the list of folks who would like to see the childhood Disney pictures! And I'd vote Wishes from the Poly beach for night one... although you really can't go wrong... you'll be in Disney!!!![]()
Enjoy being solo-I love it!
Our flight is at 6:35 a.m. - we're flying into West Palm Beach to visit relatives for the day, then driving to wdw that afternoon
That's so funny your dh is from bensonhurst - my inlaws still live there, on
west 8th street

Evening Kat! Having a quiet weekend everyone is away camping !!
I have never taken the train over to Rafiki's before..is it worth it??
Ok thoughts and ideas??????
Kat, as a 7 or 8 year old...in WDW...or MK 'cause thats really all there was. These pcis are from 3 years of trips and aren;t dated or anything. They were given to me by my granmother who never wrote anything on the backs. Remember these are pics of old pics but they are decent enough to see...
