If you manage to pack ten days worth into those two bags, you are so going to do how-to classes here on the DIS -- I always seem to overpack.
My husband would have to have clothes that would all go together, also, if he was traveling without me. I even laid out what I wanted him to wear to our daughter's middle school open house last night so he wouldn't embarrass her.
I don't really know how I do it but I do. I am determined this time because I dont have KC to carry the bags for me. I roll everything up to make it fit better- it always makes more space!
I take out DHs clothes for most events too...he would throw on old crappy shorts and a too tight tee if i didnt sometimes. He has nice clothes in the closet but goes for those darn tees first!

Ugh, I am starting to feel incompetant. All I have done is have the suitcases airing out. I haven't event hought about packing. I am trying to get my house ready for the contractor. Am I crazy to be cleaning before he comes
I have no kiddies to keep me busy before a trip so more time to pack! If it's crazy to pack for a contractor is it crazy to pack before you go on vacation? I clean like there is no tomorrow before we leave!
Kat, I have a bag very similar to yours. I bought it last year for a 3 day trip to Vegas. What you said about waiting for luggage is so true!! It was awesome to walk past all those people that were waiting and straight out to a taxi with no line!!!
We took this blue suitcase to Vegas for a long weekend and it worked out ok, and that was for both of us so
TECHNICALLY it's like 6 days worth of clothes, right? so a few more days wont make much difference for just me. Fuzzy packing logic.

Just in case you need it - couldn't be easier at TPA! Lots of signage and baggage claim is on one floor.
My Sophie's been laying on top of my new suitcase each night, making sure it smells like her before I head out anywhere!
I am more concerned with seeing my friend than worrying about baggage claim, so thats more why I'm avoiding checking a bag. Although- i did book enough in advance that at least I wouldn't get charged!
Bale loves to run his scent all over everything that we take with, esp when it smells like a new bag- he lvoes outside smells (he never goes out).
