Thursday August 21st

Today is the day I check out of Pop and check in to :

Port Orleans: Riverside
We plan on requesting: Magnolia Bend Building 90

I want to stay in one of those mansions!!!

I am meeting up with Z for the first time this day, she is going to be coming to Pop to pick me up on her drive from Miami.

There may be a friend joining her as well. For that reasonw e aren't totally sure what time she is coming. Originally she thought around 11am, but it may not be until 3 or 4pm.

So I have decided to get up early and hit a park and just leave my luggage at the luggage services desk. But WHICH PARK????

I'm thinking if I never get onto TSM that I may head there and just do that and go to MK afterwards, if I HAVE done TSM then MK it will be, I think.

The rest of the day is a non-park day for us since Z is getting 4 day resident passes. I am so anxious to check out POR and it's beautiful grounds! And the butterfly garden!

We are going to head to The Beach Club for dinner at:
Beaches N Cream (I've never been before and never met a burger I didn't like)

And then going to Pleasure Island and getting our Adventure on! I want to spend as much time at The Adventurers Club as I can!!!!!

Next up the rest of our itinerary (it's a little more general than my solo one is ).

I have heard SO many great things about TSM that if you haven't gone yet I think you should try to go early and go before hitting MK. I have heard it is definately worth it!

Z is n early to the parks person, so am I- this is good. She also mentioned park hopping a lot in the afternoons- me not so much. She is from Florida and used to the humidity- i plan to hide from the mid day sun like the vampire I am.

I think your plans look great. I agree with the afternoon breaks. DH and I will definitely be doing this. If there is something you really want to do at DHS on your last day, then I say go. It's your last day of magic so do what you want!!

I hope one day DH and I can go at Christmas time. It looks beautiful!
