So I order the periwinkle and lime one from shoebuy.com with a free UPS shipping coupon and I think 20% off as well. Go me! Then once I get a tracking # it says it won’t arrive until 8/19. UM I leave 8/18 at 5am!!

See the problem was I had a towel

OMG, I'm cracking up over this - I'm having similar issues because I want to bring my big, soft Lands End beach towel, not the carppy, thin drugstore towel that takes up less room!

I use the small backpack. It's perfect. I'm finally out of the diaper bag scene, so this fits everything I need and those extra's you need with kids (hand wipes, Purell, etc).

Just sitting home all alone Kids and DD are at Darien Lake for the Jonas Bros. concert and I am enjoying the peace and quiet , plus have the Net !!Can't wait till my next trip I am still looking at mid May 09 plus the family trip in Sept. I am still a little leery about the heat in May!!

Kat...what are your dates again??? We'll be at the BC 8/25-9/1. Tried to get POP for the fun of it, however, no dates were avail Over 2,000+rooms and none for us . What do you think the crowd levels will be like This is our third year in a row going through FD (BUT our first FD year)...we'll see how it goes. First time we are staying onsite for FD.

I leave this monady the 18th @ Pop till 8/21 the switch to POR until 8/25. Then I'm in the Orlando and Tampa areas until the 28th...get all that???

I expect the crowds so if its not as bad as I imagine then I'm glad, ya know?

I broke down and bought an new addidas duffle (on sale for $15) and EVERYTHING FITS, even my big giant beach towel!!!!

I'm right there w/you - I think we'll be OK leaving early tomorrow morning - so far I have to look out for you at JFK as well as a co-worker of dh who is also leaving out of JFK tomorrow morning around the same time - we'll all have a big pre-flight party in the terminal

Kat, I am a hurricane-tracking junkie (growing up on the coast will do that) so I have been watching what Fay is up to. According to the projected paths, you won't feel her until Tuesday or Wednesday. Let's hope she fizzles out and is just rain by the time she gets to central Florida!
