The 'I can't think of a suitably magical title for this TR' - TR Half Term June 2012

I really enjoyed that :thumbsup2

You did well visiting Paris and your lo's stamina is amazing :worship:

I love all the character photos on your last day too - your lo's are gorgeous and look so happy to be there :)

Dreams pics are fab too - but oh my, what a wait you had for that!

I laughed at the comment re the parade dancers, Abbey and I looked out for them too :rotfl:

Great, great trip report - thanks for sharing :goodvibes

Well done for posting this so quickly, you've put me to shame!
It's so strange to read your trippie because we were there at the same time - and did lots of things in the same order as you :rotfl: don't see us in any of your photos though!
We were ON Big Thunder when the crazy rain happened, full details to follow in my trip report :surfweb:
Your children are gorgeous, I especially love those photos on the teacups and with Minnie - such happy faces :cutie:
Thanks so much for sharing, I loved reading that

Great trip report and love the photos!

Just one question, I've seen in a few people's posts that there've been soft toys on the beds when they've checked in. Is this a new thing that they do as standard now or did you phone ahead and tell them it was a special occasion or something? Stupid thing I know but I was just wondering, I'd love for my DD to have one of these waiting for her. :yay:

Awww what a FAB TR - really enjoyed reading it thanks!

I love your photos, your LOs are sooo cute!!! And your Dreams photos are just WOW! Love the one with the magic/pixie dust?!

Looks like you got one of the refurbed rooms in SL! :thumbsup2 And those Donald Duck toys are just too cute!

I am exhausted just reading everything that you managed to fit in - how on earth did your kids keep going?!

I did LOL at your comment about the parade CM's from the Channel 5 programme - we have it on Sky + and I know Isabelle will be looking for them when we go! ;)

Hope your feet have recovered and your DH perks up soon - nothing worse is there?!! :rotfl2:

This is a very odd picture, mainly because when you took it - we're the window under the fully open one on the 5th floor (we were 4th floor down and in the middle, slightly open window).. curtains still drawn because we had a lay in each day! :goodvibes

Good trip report :) - We found that dumbo seemed to be manic every day we were there, so we used our VIP fastpass and settled for the flying carpets in the studio's instead... it seems strange to me that they can fastpass the carpets but not dumbo? :confused3 - Though I must admit, I wish a few more attractions did have the fastpass feature... hopefully the new studios rides will have as well.

Lol, I did wonder if I'd catch any DiSers in my pictures! I will be scanning everyone else's for us!

I agree it's a shame they don't have the fast pass facility on more rides, especially the newer ones like crush etc - not that we need them yet as our kids are still too young but I'm dreading having to wait 1hr+ for rides when they're older. DH gets grumpy waiting 25 mins never mind the kids!!

Thanks for sharing your trip and photos with us (your children look adorable) it sounds like you all had a lovely and eventful time :)

As thanks, I wish they were as adorable for me as they seem to everyone else! Although Cole did make one of the CMs on Peter Pan gush and coo over him as I sat in with Skye so he was shouting from behind "I love you mummy!" and blowing kisses!

Fab trip report! Thanks.

Thank you :)

I really enjoyed that :thumbsup2

I know, Skye has amazing stamina! I can't believe now that she's never been in a buggy at Disney and on our first trip she turned 3. The thought of Cole who's almost 4 walking is ridiculous but somehow she's always just kept going! Although DHs shoulders took a battering at times!

DH still thinks that the male dancer wasn't the one on the programme but I'm certain it was!

Omg, the rain was mad!! We got stuck on Autopia last trip in similar rain and it was hilarious! Can't wait to read your trip report!

Great trip report and love the photos!

I think they were there as we'd emailed ahead to request a close room and mentioned a special occasion. Last time it was because the cm booking noted that we were returning guests.

Awww what a FAB TR - really enjoyed reading it thanks!

Thanks he's feeling better today finally and back to work. We have that programme on the sky + too, I can't bring myself to delete it!

We actually missed loads out that we managed to do last time! The kids are amazing! Cole just napped in his buggy thankfully plus going back to the hotel in the afternoon for a few hours really helped.

Wow I can't believe you have finished your trip report already. :goodvibes I am very impressed that your DD waited that long for dreams - I don't think mine would have been so patient.

I really enjoyed reading your report - thanks for posting, I don't think we were in the same place as you at all during our trip I certainly can't see us in any of your pictures. It was good to read about your trip to Paris, we are thinking we might spend a day there if we go again. :goodvibes

My kids seem to be much better at waiting for things when they're apart! Theyre a nightmare in queues, pushing and shoving each other when they get bored! there's no way Cole would have waited that long for dreams! I kept Skye going with the handful of sweets she picked up at RDS earlier that day!

I loved our few hours in Paris, even though it was short and sweet as had to be very child friendly, it was a nice escape from the parks for a bit. I'm hoping to explore a bit more next time! Looking forward to your trip report! :goodvibes

Blimey. Well done for getting the TR done so quickly. We have only just viewed the photos and vid from our trip. Our diary was written in a book for day 1 and 2 and then tiredness took over and the rest is a bit of a blur.

We were in the q for pirates too when it went down - I've never seen the CM's running before. We were able to tell our DS that the ride was broken. His 'charming' response was "Pirates broken, Man fix it". We bailed out at 6.40 leaving just enough time to get a spot over at IASW for the parade. Its not a bad location at the top of the bank in the IASW overspill queue line, and it also has cover when the French weather takes a turn for the worse - like it seemed to do last week (frequently). It also stops DS from wanting to join in the parade and cuddle all the characters.

Glad you liked the SL, its our fave too - and the pool is superb (even the dunking slide), especially the giant hot tub.

Its a shame you felt there was a lack of characters. Did you get to meet any in the SL on the landing above the breakfast? Theres always next time. The pictures with Minnie in the studios are wonderful though. What price for a smile like that on a childs face?

Right, (suitably shamed) time to start writing our TR.

Garry (not rachel), lol.

Ours are much better on their own too but that is still a very long time:worship:

Wow Ro, I am very impressed by how quickly you got your trip report up! :thumbsup2

Really enjoyed reading it, Skye & Cole are such cuties and it sounds as though you had a great trip!

Awh yeah I thought about jotting down bits and pieces on my ipad but tiredness got the better of me! It's half the reason I got my TR done so quickly though, it was hard enough recalling everything a day after we got back! If I'd have left it any longer I probably wouldn't have managed half of what I did!

That's so funny as we watched from the start of the parade so pretty much right below where you were and we walked straight up to IASW afterwards. I was confused that their were people walking down the line and thought something else had happened on iasw as had on potc! When we got to the top and I realised it was because people were watching the parade from there I thought why didn't I think of that?! :rotfl: We probably walked right past you!!

Glad you liked the SL, its our fave too - and the pool is superb (even the dunking slide), especially the giant hot tub.

Awh I so wanted to go in the hot tub but under 12s aren't allowed in it and Skye would have wanted to come too!

Its a shame you felt there was a lack of characters. Did you get to meet any in the SL on the landing above the breakfast? Theres always next time. The pictures with Minnie in the studios are wonderful though. What price for a smile like that on a childs face?

We missed all of the hotel meet and greets bar one as we were always in the parks by then! I had intended to do the DLH 4pm one on the Sunday but we were asleep! The only day we were at the hotel when it was on was when there was only 30 mins of breakfast time left so we couldn't wait, I think it was Eeyore that morning. I think it was the meet with Minnie on the last day that made me realise how much we'd missed the characters! Those smiles were pretty amazing!

Yes do! I'm waiting! :rotfl:

Oh I did! What great photos, gorgeous children too. :goodvibes Wish mine were still little! :) Glad you had such a fabulous holiday.

Thanks, we did :)
