The I am a pirate/fireman, I am not a hijacker thread, all about nothing in general

Oh my goodness! Why do the ladies in this office insist on having the air con set so cold?!?

It's definitely something... I have to rug up just to get close to comfortable. Occassionally I'll announce "That's it! I'm going outside to warm up!!" :lmao:

Hi everyone :wave2: I'm back :teeth: arrived home safely yesterday and promptly went off to the midnight screening of Breaking Dawn Part 2 :lmao: which is now my favourite Twilight movie lol

I'll add to my on the go TR soon, the wifi at HoJo's wasn't very good in our second room so it go too tricky to post.

But I met Minnie Sue and her DD over there, the back story will pop up in the TR :thumbsup2

Final tally of my bags:
2 large suitcases 50lbs and 51 lbs
1 medium suitcase 40lbs
1 large carry on bag (forgot to weigh)
1 large handbag (forgot to weigh)

Plus a number of items in Sam #2's third suitcase that wouldn't fit in my bags :rotfl2: mainly lollies plus my joggers, some plastic bowls and cups :rolleyes1 photos will be included in the TR :goodvibes

Welcome home Sam! It's great that you had a Dismeet with Minnie Sue. Did it have anything to do with your missing package??? Looking forward to reading all about it in your TR.

Working today. Thank heavens it's at the primary school and not with the rude and insolent year 7 and 8s! I can't believe that life is that bad for them they have to have a chip on their shoulder about everything. Sheesh.

I've got a sink full of dishes that the kids haven't washed last night that I have to do this afternoon. A machine full of washing that has been set on delay start so hopefully it'll be ready for me to hang out this afternoon. DS has a make-up swimming lesson this afternoon at 4.30, then I have to get stuff for chicken and spinach quesadillas for dinner. Then DH and DS are off for the weekend for a motocross meet so I have to pack stuff for them to take. It's a sad one as it's an inaugural memorial ride for a boy who came off, hit his head and the family turned off his life support a week later a year ago :worried:. DS is made to wear all of his safety gear and while he sometimes has a moan about it I hope this weekend reinforces the need for safety above 'coolness'. I usually go and meet them at the track on the Sunday if it's a full weekend race, but my car is still at the panel beater getting repainted and I don't like the 2009 Commodore wagon the company responsible for the damages to my car gave me to use in the meantime, so I don't know if I shall head out or just stay at home with DD. It uses so much fuel

okay, better get going. Have a lovely day

The new photobucket is giving me the poos... :rotfl:

I will admit to liking the new uploader though - drag and drop is so user friendly!

Welcome home Sam! Did you have to pay much in excess luggage fees? Did you wear the boots home?

It was too much fun not to Karen! My poor carryon was about to burst its zipper :rotfl2: I saw your lovely carryon in a Marshalls in Dallas for $70 marked down from $320 so naturally I took a photo. Sam 2 is on board to start planning a Florida trip, ahhh outlets :cloud9: TR has continued, once done I might even pop up some photos :thumbsup2

welcome home Sam, that is a very impressive haul - well done! :thumbsup2

Welcome home Sam! Did you have to pay much in excess luggage fees? Did you wear the boots home?

Thanks everyone :flower3: as fun as the trip was its nice to be home, sleeping in my queen bed all by myself!

I was quite inpressed with my shopping and that I have $600 left on my card to do a Jim Shore online order :teeth: they wouldn't fit in my bags :rotfl2:

Sam #2 & #3 both bought third suitcases aswell although all three of theirs were large, whereas one of my mine was a medium I stacked inside my large from home on the trip across. They bought their second and third while we were there. Bec stuck to her guns though and kept to two :rotfl:

5ofus I had to pay $200 for my third suitcase, but thats a sore point because we were originally told $150 by Virgin but since it was a Delta codeshare Delta charged us their rates :crazy2: that was after they tried to charge us $75 for our second suitcases even though our ticket clearly stated that we had 2 included and the guy acted as if it was this massive deal that they let us take the second bags without charging us :rolleyes2 and yes I had to wear my boots home :rotfl: as soon as I sat down on the plane they were off until we landed in Sydney though :thumbsup2

Bec - couldn't agree more!! Love the uploader, but I've reverted to the old photobucket - there is a tab to change back and they then ask you why you've changed back! Told them why in no uncertain terms..!!!
