I did think about it but in the end decided it was probably better to let it go. Sometimes, its all about knowing when to pick a fight and when to let things slide.

Afterall, it really isn't a war if only one side shows up.

So, I thanked her for her help and said that I knew it wasn't her fault but perhaps that she could let her manager know that the customer experience in this instance was not a good one.

Your sales person must have gone to the same customer service school as our TA - obviously ours was not 'used' to having people not accepting their quotes. And yep, I've let the comments slide (after having a bit of a private rant to friends )

Hmmm. I would be looking for a new TA myself if I had one that displayed that attitude at the very START of the booking process. Wonder what sort of customer service they would then provide once their customers start changing their minds and want to tweak plans?

I'd say

I can understand the inconvenience I may have caused by not going for the quote but it was one informal quote and wasn't that involved using multiple flights and complicated itineraries, but what can you do but move on.

I found the rainforest cafe at Disneyland Paris very disappointing. Was so glad to go back to Anaheim. London was pretty average as well.

Useful thanks-it wasn't high on my list but I was just browsing all the options. None of the food there gets great ratings, though I know lots like Inventions but its a bit out of my price bracket for this trip and still isn't wowing me. We have small appetites so I'd rather blow the $ on 2 really outstanding courses rather than a buffet.
