The I am a pirate/fireman, I am not a hijacker thread, all about nothing in general

oh, and after attending a training session related to representation and the internet, i should disclose that i am currently working at telstra but all views expressed by me are my own and in no way reflect telstra or their policies or views...

:rotfl2: Thanks for the disclaimer :rotfl2:

yeah, having call barring installed works wonders for controlling costs :) i would do it but we have voip and our calls to local/std etc are free and our international calls to the usa are only 5c/min so there's not much more to save on :)

:rotfl2::rotfl2: glad to know we still employ some Aussies then :rotfl2:

We are too far from the exchange to have a reliable internet service so we're stuck with a house phone so no voip for us. I also have to use a plug in modem for our computer :sad2: Our internet drops out so much it's ridiculous. The cons of living semi-rural I guess.

Disclaimer first world problem
:rolleyes1ds17 is sitting here half an hour before its time to go to basketball drying his socks with a hair dryer  have you picked yourself up from laughing yet :rotfl2: the problem with this scenario is I only have myself to blame when we were away I finished drying underwear that was a little damp with the hair dryer at the hotel so we didn't have to pack damp underwear  but I wasn't paying the power bill then

I would happily get rid of our landline, only charities call it, the bulk of our bill is the line rental which we need for adsl. Anyone have a solution.

That's just like us but our Internet drops out so often almost all of our local calls are the modem reconnecting :(

omg, it was the most horrendous training session ever :)

That's not good :(. Whenever I have a bad day I just think of the money I'm making and how it's bringing me another day closer to our next holiday.

So, good week (except for the actual working work :lmao:)

I got a salaried position at my work, which is very hard to come by.
Same hours, more pressure i'm told, with a 16% payrise (Which is more than enough to cover 3 adult airfares to the U.S :thumbsup2) How sad is it that that is what I used as my measure to accept :rotfl2:

It's basically what i've been doing since my boss had been on holidays and getting ready for her transition to a new store, so it shouldn't be that much of a stretch...(here's hoping anyway )

Safe travels PIO :)

I'm so tired... :surfweb:

It's so hard to look busy, while napping... :rotfl2:
