The I am a pirate/fireman, I am not a hijacker thread, all about nothing in general

We are hoping to have our house on the market by the end of the week - so we have cleaned and gardened till we are nearly dead! I hope it sells quickly, the idea of weekends filled with inspections and trying to keep the house clean with two kids (who will be on school holidays!) is terrifying:scared1:

I hope you sell high early and buy low! Good luck with the sale.

Thanks PIO I had a good weekend, never seem to accomplish much but it was still good. How was yours?

Dabecs - hope you are successful in selling your house and finding another.

Hope you all have a wonderful Monday - If that is at all possible:rolleyes:

It was a pretty good weekend here. Thanks.

It's Monday night and the last week of school in Victoria. Who's ready for school holidays?????

Another week of school here in WA. As a teacher I am hanging out for the holidays. As a parent, not so much!

Me! Unfortunately we have another 2 weeks (3 if you count what is left of this one).

They have pushed NZ holidays out this year so they coincide with Easter and ANZAC day. It's quite nice actually as DH only has to take 3 days leave and then we all get 10 days off together.

I've always been intimidated by this thread...but I've decided to be brave so here I am!

Its been a while since I've been on the DIS not because I'm trying to stay away but I just don't seem to have the time to do anything. It doesn't help that I didn't have a computer at home until last week. Our old one died just after we came back from Europe and our trip to America was more important so we held off buying a new one until now. Priorities...

I don't have anything exciting to report really. Our landscaping still isn't approved by council so I'm still surrounded by mud.

Oh I will be flying to Melbourne tomorrow but it will be a lightning visit so unfortunately no time to meet up with my Melbourne friends :(

Hi Shushh. Great to see you back. :) How was your cruise on the Allure of the Seas?

I check your blog occasionally for updates, but it seems, like me, you're taking a break.

Edited: Yay! I've just seen that you have done some updates. I'm looking forward to having a read after dinner.

PIO, Zanzibar, and all the other people of Melbourne, did you hear the news that you are getting the Lion King next year?

I love that stage show so much and was eagerly awaiting today's announcement as to where the show would go next. I was hoping for Auckland, but since that is not to be, I'm at least pleased that you lovely people get it.

If you decide to do a Dis trip to the show, let me know. It may just give me another excuse to head over for a night or two.

Edited: I just noticed that it's going to Brisbane too later this year. What about Auckland??!??!!

My dd and I are looking forward to it in brissie! Fingers crossed it comes to NZ soon- it has been to a lot of cities worldwide - it must soon be at least aucklands turn.

I was thrilled to hear Lion King was coming to Melbourne, I had been contemplating a weekend in Sydney to go see it but won't have to now!

I went with hubby last time it was in Melbourne, I was pregnant with my first who turned 8 in Mach! I think my girls will love it:)

Welcome back online!

Hope the house is all that you expected it to be.....and hopefully you'll be surrounded by landscaping soon instead of mud. :flower3:

Have a great time in Melbourne and hope to catch you next time. :goodvibes

Haha...I had a mini crisis when my eldest turned 10 last year!

You know it is the one of the few musicals I have NOT seen...
