Finally got back to reading but the good thing is that I had a few updates to read. I too wish we could have the Indiana Jones ride instead of the show. What do you like better about the Disneyland TOT compared to WDW? The treasure hunt at MK looks so cute! I just noticed some of the props on our last trip. Which place at Grand Floridian did you get the pizza? It looked really good! I have got to get down there sometime to see the Christmas decorations. Those gingerbread houses are amazing!

I like the layout better. Rather than having to walk through all of the different garden areas you just walk right in! For some reason it makes it seem more like a hotel that way.

We got it at their counter service/cafeteria area.

I love WDW at Christmas!

That gingerbread House at the GF has gotten bigger and more elaborate over the years, I saw it in I think it was 1987 and then 1989-90 and back then it was a one story little Bungalow type house.

Before we dive in to trip reporting I thought I would give you all a little life update! We have been going through a rough time over here so any prayers for my family or pixie dust or good vibes would be greatly appreciated!

The other day I was sitting at my computer at work and got an email from the Disney College Program. I had been tossing around the idea since before I started my undergrad degree. Well I decided to apply! Within an hour I had my web interview and right after I was done they offered me a phone interview! I had my phone interview and it went very well! My top three jobs are attractions, merchandising, conceirge and character. I am going to my character audition tomorrow! Any good vibes or whatever would be awesome! It was spur of the moment and I can't believe how fast everything is happening! I should know within 3 weeks whether or not I am accepted!


Last time we left off we were just leaving the Grand Floridian. It took a while for a bus to come but eventually it did!



We were heading here to watch Fantasmic!

I just love Hollywood at night!








When we got closer to the hat we found Mulch Sweat and Shears performing!



There's Mom's boyfriend!



We always love watching them!



After their set was over we tried to figure out where we should head first. We still had some time before Fantasmic so we were trying to kill it.







We ended up over here



Which btw if you're reading my Cali Trip Report I just showed pictures of the actual Chinese Theater in my last update!




Even those plant covered fountains are at the real one!



For those of you that are unaware this is probably one of my top three favorite rides at Disney. This ride through though was probably the worst I have ever experienced!



First off our narrator wasn't very animated. She spoke monotone and um you're working at Disney girl pep up!



The next issue was getting felt up by a three year old throughout the entire ride. He was all over most of the bench and once in a while he would press his side up against me and start rubbing my thigh. Needless to say I was totally grossed out and it took a lot of patience for me not to throw him out of the ride and feed him to the Aliens.





Ah I just love seeing the different movies!




And this is when it went from bad to worse





Now this may sound bad but I didn't realize it at first. That is an old woman. In her late 60s. Playing Bugsy!?!?! She held up the narrator like normal and then once she got in to the car she scared one of the little girls up front. Throughout the time whenever she had to say something mean she would follow it up with "I'm just kidding this is all pretend". Really? I get it Disney you want to be all pro feminine movement by allowing women to be Bugsy but don't! You need a man playing that job! Especially not a women that old. You wouldn't let Mrs. Potts play Gaston would you?!

After we got off of that horrific ride we headed to go see Fantasmic!



It wasn't as good as Disneyland's but I still enjoy it!





Oh how I would love to be friends with Mickey!

Very thankful for the new zoom lens we got for the camera!






The Pocahontas part is pretty cool but Peter Pan at DL is way better!


It's really funny how bad the costuming department does when it comes to beards in this show!

WOW, what an insane and unreal and not great expeience. We've always had a guy gangster, and I've heard of a female, but not one like that! Like you're still playing evil, you need to be able to act bad, and not be saying "it's all pretend" kids get scared, deal with it… lol

Glad that fantasmic made things better! Great pictures! I haven't seen DLR's in YEARS, I didn't make it over there the night I was there last year, but I DEFINITELY want to go back lol!

She is, of course, super excited and will be there before we know it as she was accepted into the "Fall Advantage" program which means she goes in May!!

I will miss her dearly but this is a dream come true for her so I am so happy for her and proud of her!
