The Hot Fudge Terrorists and the Curse of the Drunken Punkin!!!New 04/24/14 pg 19

I have to agree with you about the water transportation at WDW, it really is the best and so relaxing!

O'hana's:love: we haven't been there since 2011 when Jeff came with us and at that time we did breakfast! I'm sure he will get his money's worth that evening!

Great pics too btw of the new GFV....gorgeous!

It is!

He will love it!

Thank you!

If you don't get seasick. :crazy2: I used to really like the busses back when the drivers were crazy, they were a thrill ride in and of themselves! :lmao: But the Monorail is my favorite, hands down.

Oh no! My mom gets motion sickness but luckily the water transportation doesn't bother her!

The Monorail is amazing too!

When I last left off we had just finished dinner at Ohana and I had finished my Lapu Lapu. We were headed back here

I love Disney at Christmas and can't wait to see it again!

My first mission was to get a picture from the train station

and their decorations

Before we headed to our FP+

This is probably one of my favorite pics

Although I have a lot of favorite pics it still means something when I call a picture my favorite!

We headed in to New Fantasyland (FYI I will always call it New no matter how old it is!)

Our FP+ was for Story Time with Belle!

I had changed it around a couple times that day because our timing was a bit off and we did have a dinner ADR.

I love the Wardrobe she just screams FABULOUS!!

So you know how they choose people to play the parts in the story? Well my mom really wanted me to get chosen and I was feeling a bit "happy". One thing I have not gotten used to since I turned gluten free is my ability to hold my liquor. I used to be able to have a drink or two and be fine. Now I'm one and done :headache: its taken some getting used to.

Well for all of you who know how strong a Lapu Lapu is... I was a bit too "happy".

Hence the term "Drunken Punkin"

So this Drunken Punkin is playing along with the different actions they ask you to do in order to figure out who would play what part best.

They get to the wardrobe..

They ask us to all sing fabulously with a Tra La La...

I ended up singing much louder than what I thought I was.. I got picked to be the wardrobe and my mom was like "After how loud you sang she couldn't pick anyone else!" I didn't realize how loud I sang! Granted it did get me a part but I was a bit embarassed!

After all the other parts are chosen we file in to the library

and here is Drunken Punkin with all the CHILDREN who were chosen for the story

Lumiere told the story

and I sang out when I needed to. It was fun but I didn't realize how the Lapu Lapu effected me!

Since I was a bit "happy" we decided what would be better than to ride my favorite ride

It is much scarier after a drink let me tell you!

There aren't any other pictures because I tend to not be the most photogenic or much of a photographer when under the influence of alcohol so I am assuming we had fun then headed to the hotel

At least we all know I made it back safe!

I'm going to have to try a Lapu Lapu some day. I'm not a big drinker though, so it will probably hit me hard. Of the few drinks I've tried at WDW, the Grey Goose Slushie is my favorite. For Christmas this year dh bought me the ingredients and found the recipe so I can make them at home. :cool1:

I will have to remember to do Story Time with Belle on our next trip. Due to a lack of being able to count, :rolleyes1 we weren't able to go into MK last year. So we haven't been able to see much of the new Fantasyland yet.

That pic of you with the kids is perfection!

:rotfl: Thank you!

That's awesome!!! I plan on trying the Grand Marnier slushie in May!

I hope you get to see all of new Fantasyland when you go back!

I love Disney at Christmas and can't wait to see it again!

The very first time I was there was December 26th.
And either they didn't decorate back then... or I have zero recollection of any decorations.

Whoa. Look at all those people.
That's just a tad intimidating!

This is probably one of my favorite pics

:worship: That's a really, really good shot.

Some day, far in the future... "Great Grandma Caitlin? Why do you always call it 'New Fantasyland?"

Well for all of you who know how strong a Lapu Lapu is... I was a bit too "happy".

Oh, no! :rotfl2:

Hence the term "Drunken Punkin"

Now the truth comes out!

Yup! You look pretty 'happy'!

It is much scarier after a drink let me tell you!

Okay. I was not expecting that reaction!

There aren't any other pictures because I tend to not be the most photogenic or much of a photographer when under the influence of alcohol so I am assuming we had fun then headed to the hotel

Awwww.... We want some photos of sloshed Caitlin.
Where's a lampshade when you need one?

At least we all know I made it back safe!

Looks that way.
Thanks for the update! :goodvibes

Really late but subbing in! :thumbsup2

Loving the story thus far, can't wait to read more. Also can't wait to see the castle all lit up for Christmas again someday. Man, it's gorgeous!

We have someone in our group who is gluten free. What were you able to eat and what were you not there??

Really curious. Thanks.

Hmm odd! From what I read they don't take them down until January so maybe you just don't remember :confused3

Whoa. Look at all those people.
That's just a tad intimidating!

A lot of people were leaving though and it wasn't that busy :thumbsup2

Yeah.. I am a bit embarrassed but oh well!

Okay. I was not expecting that reaction!

I tend to be a bit jumpy during the graveyard scene when all the heads pop up occasionally and I can't time it well when I am drinking :rotfl:

You have had pics of sloshed Caitlin I just didn't point it out in the trip reports :rotfl:

Looks that way.

Thanks for reading!

Better late than never!

Thank you! More pictures of the castle coming soon when I get to the MVMCP! I took soo many pictures that night!

Really like your side shot of the castle - reminds me of a Tiffany box!!

Thank you!

We have someone in our group who is gluten free. What were you able to eat and what were you not there??

Really curious. Thanks.

I was only able to eat the salad and the meat. Everything else I could eat had to come from the kitchen itself. If you have any questions don't hesitate to post them or PM me I am more than happy to help! :thumbsup2

The first time I was there was pretty overwhelming, so it's entirely possible that I just didn't see the trees for the forest, so to speak.
Then again, they might not have been quite as elaborate as they are now.
This was in 1977.
I Googled some pics, and it doesn't look like there're too many decorations. At least not a lot... Or anywhere near as many as there are now.
But I could be wrong.

Interesting!

That could be possible I tried looking up when MVMCP started but couldn't find anything :confused3

You may have been impaired, but you sure got some great pictures of the castle at night. :thumbsup2

That is an adorable picture of you with the kids! Of course you were going to have the loudest singing voice, you were surrounded by kids. :lmao:

Glad you picked HM as your last ride. I just love that ride at night. It always feels darker when you know its not.

Yeah the CM was pretty surprised by how loud I was!

I agree! I love HM any time of day!
