Holy Mega Update Caitlin!

I am very excited for you. Congrats on starting the college program I hope its an awesome experience for you. My close friend's niece did it. She drove for the Safari. She now works for Disney and loves it.

I love all your pictures. It's so fun to see the decorations in all the different areas of the park. I love you lunch spot. It's adorable! And its so enhanced by the Christmas theme.

I am planning on starting my Pre Trip/Eventual Trip Report tomorrow since it will be 2 months until I check in!

And having two TRs on the go is just never enough!

This morning we woke up early and I am assuming we had breakfast but we have no photographic evidence!

Then it never happened. Nope.

Even the dancers were in the right attire!

I had a flat once. But it was the left attire.

I actually watched Dumbo the other day and boy is that movie weird! They have an entire scene featuring Dumbo getting drunk and having hallucinations about elephants!

They don't make 'em like they used to!
When was the last time you saw a plastered princess???

We started our day off with It's a Small World! I told my mom that if I start missing her too much while I'm gone I will ride this in her honor!

Good grief! You must really, really love your mother!

These pictures came out so dark and it makes the ride look evil and ominous. Which is how I feel about it most of the time

and no ride is complete without a dead clown

I think they were trying to hit as many phobias at once with that one.

I love Piglet's face in this portion!

Since we were in the area we decided to go on the Barnstormer

Having worked at or around airports most of my life, I got a kick out of the windsock made from pants (with flap!) and suspenders.

After we lost our lunches because of the triple loop on the Barnstormer we headed out

I wonder how many people read that and thought, "Really?"

It was nice to see the decorations and after having our fill of whimsy and fantasy it was time for something scary!

When I last left off we were headed to lunch



One of you guessed correctly with Columbia Harbor House

I got the chicken fingers which were gluten free



Mom got the shrimp!



And I am pretty sure that other thing in the side of the picture is an apple pie


It was a good lunch and we just sat and chatted for a bit. I love being able to just relax in the parks!

After lunch we headed back out into the park



where I had to take another picture of the castle!



We then headed out and got on to the boat!



Water transportation at Disney is the best!







It didn't hurt that it was a beautiful day too!

We browsed around the shop a bit and I found a dress I liked. Since I thought Curl was closed I was upset I couldn't buy any new clothes!

Once we were done we waited for a bus to take us to downtown disney!

We were really bouncing around all over the place today!




We did a bit of shopping and looking around and headed back to the hotel to get ready for dinner!

We were going to eat at Mom's favorite restaurant! Which means one of these babies for me!!



For those of you that don't recognize this area we were eating at Ohana!

We were seated and had a great view!



First up was the salad!




Now most of you have seen the amazing food this place has but I bet you haven't seen the gluten free goodness!



Those wings with the sauce were amazing! I am never one to order seconds but this time I did! They were seriously that good!! The rice was a sticky rice which was also amazing and the vegetables were good too! I am actually looking forward to eating here again in May!

Mom got to enjoy these





And the one reason she comes here



But my dessert was equally good!



It was basically a flourless chocolate cake with ice cream!

This dinner was so good and I can't wait to go back!

Let's see! Have to catch up on a few posts. Love the views from Thunder Mtn. I could never hope to hold my camera steady enough to do that. Be Our Guest looked even more beautiful decorated for Christmas! I have never seen Enchanted Christmas. I tired to buy it at Christmas time but it's not being sold anymore and they wanted WAY too much for it on EBAY. Columbia Harbor is so nice. We had never even considered it before and then we got to try it two years ago during our Keys to the Kingdom tour. The boat rides from Magic Kingdom to the resorts are the best! That's one of my main reasons for staying at WL so much. Your dress was so cute! Love the Lapu Lapu - it is definitely one of WDW's best drinks!

I have to agree with you about the water transportation at WDW, it really is the best and so relaxing!

O'hana's we haven't been there since 2011 when Jeff came with us and at that time we did breakfast! I'm sure he will get his money's worth that evening!
