We've been to Disney many times, lived in Orlando for a while. Been to Universal about 10 times last time was when Simpson ride just opened. Was not planning trip. But 2 days ago, inlaws with kids our age asked if we would go so of course I said YES! Aug. 16-22. Only doing one day at universal Sun (22)

My Checkin at Universal is Sunday could I arrive at 6:30am and do early entry that day of check in? I know room will not be ready, but we are flying home Monday (23) the next day.

All 4 kids huge HP fans ages girls: 10, 11, 12 and a 13 boy.

I'm just reading about this weight restriction and I"m upset. I'm looking at the sizes and I"m right on border 200lbs, hips 46, chest 40. Am I going to be pulled out of line. I find that very embarressing especially with 4 easily embarressed preteens. Can I just say I'm not riding and just look at the interior.

I just booked hotel for early entry.

Whats good to eat there for that ages. I'm thinnking they might enjoy 3 Broomsticks counter service. Then what? Hard Rock cafe they all love classic rock and music in general.

You will have early admission into Islands of Adventure and very much need it, especially if it is during a Sunday. You will also get the express pass to bypass lines once per attraction.

Don't know about the weight restriction but have read that ppl weighing 225 have been able to ride without any issues.

if your flight does not leave early on Monday (your check out date) , you could take advantage of the express pass as well for the parks!

An impromptu trip - how fun! People on these boards have been saying that Sunday has been the least crowded day of the week for visiting WWoHP so sounds like you're going to be in good shape! See my comments below...

Even though your room will not be ready, you can check in to get key to be used as your early entry and express pass. You can store all bags w/ bellhop.

We haven't been yet, but I've read that walking through the entire queue is definitely worthwhile. Based upon measurements, not so sure you wouldn't fit. Think you should still try - and from what I've read, test seats outside are slightly smaller/tighter than actual seats so don't give up if you don't fit outside.

Don't think you can go wrong w/ HR Cafe, Margaritaville, NASCAR, or NBA City with teens in tow.

thanks all, I'm so glad I can use the early entry. I think, Hard Rock it is. Not sure about actually trying to ride FJ, I'll wait and see.

Yes, you can check into the hotel at 6:30 am. We checked in at 7 am along with several other families.

I don't think you will be pulled out of line for FJ. People with 48 chest have been riding.

For food, do Three Broomsticks or Mythos.

Since you are staying onsite you will get unlimited express access instead of the just once per line if you purchased the ticket.

When we went I only saw 1 person get pulled out of line and I rode it 4 times. You sound about the same size as me, I'm 5'8, and I had no problems with the chest size :)

Other than that the 3B is a good place to eat but can get real busy so expect a long wait if you want to eat there. Hard Rock is fun and so is Margarittaville.
