I went to WDW during Presidents week this year and decided to go to the Hoop Dee Doo Review https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/d...wilderness-resort/hoop-dee-doo-musical-revue/, which I had not been to in about 15 years.
What a great show . . . the level of energy, comedic timing and all around good fun made me wonder why I waited 15 years to return.
Just the boat ride alone from the MK to Pioneer Hall and seeing the wishes fireworks from the water was worth the price of admission.
However, on a real down note, I found the food horrible and I like to eat. It was really bad . . . they over cooked chicken that had little to no meat and for the first time in my life I actually had to spit the food out because it was so dry that it actually made me gag.
Now I know Disney can do better and my server wanted to know why I didnt eat any of the food and he must of said something to the Manager and she came out with chicken that was good . . . (special order), but unfortunately the damage was done and I lost my appetite for eating.
But despite the bad food and no Abita Amber (I was spoiled from being at POR-Riverside) . . . only Bud lite, it was a very enjoyable experience and again just good fun and very entertaining.
