The homeless Dis'ers go Hawaiian(come check out our new place!)

Castlegazer, I am a fan of Stevie Nicks, but not a rabid fan. "Stevie Nicks all the way" had been my response to a thread about which Landslide version was better - Stevie's or the Dixie Chicks. Next thing I knew a crazy tag fairy had attached it to my name and since I have no idea how to change these things, that's where it's stayed. She does choose some bizarre outfits.

As for the coffee, I am extremely guilty as charged.

Now as far as leaving Ed in charge of lunch - unfortunately, I believe I saw him grilling the Spam with pineapple and putting it on white bread. Everything else in the basket was hidden and I'm scared to find out what else is there. I'll bring extra wine and cocktails so maybe we won't care!

Hey spam is big in hawaii, and I dont think our gardener owns a bathing suit! :happy2: And for whats in the basket its for dessert. You'll see later.

:worship: that is my dad bowing to ed. My mother hasn't let him have SPAM in years. He used to love it!

The falls look simply fabulous. And I am afraid I do not do topless either. You guys would not want to lose the gardener now would you?

Anyone up fordonho.com tonight?

:cool1:"Tiny Bubbles - Tiny Bubbles" :cool1: ughhhh, yeowwww - you're going to make me fall off this cliff above the waterfall.......

So I pulled out my pocket PC while I was drying off from swimming and looked up Don Ho's

This is what's on tap tonight in their bar:
Legend Series - Every third Wednesday of the month, join us for our Legend Series Dinner Show. $5 cover charge and 1 entrée purchase. Taped Live and aired on K-5 and KINE radio.

Now, where's that desert? Come on Ed - we're starting to talk about dinner.... you have made us all very hungry.

 Oh Ed - you really know the way to a woman's heart. Thank you sooooooo much!

Oh, this is worse to me than looking at the pictures of waterfalls, sunsets, and vistas of Hawaii - I want Tiramisu NOW, but alas, I don't even know what I am going to make for dinner IRL let alone having a lushious desert

Oh Man...All this looks great!! Please count me in.

Hey suzannen and castlegazer~ glad you liked the torches!!!

Hey who's up for an adventure?

Thanks for the no going topless rule!! That takes some pressure off. Good morning all!!! A loooong night at the bar. Think I'll just relax by the pool today. Way too much of that yummy tiramisu. Thanks Ed. Maybe I should take some hula lessons to whittle down the middle.

Tiramisu was lovely, Ed. Almost made up for that Spam concoction.

I will be very happy to sit on the yacht and soak up the sun while any adventurers want to go in the water with the sharks. I've always heard they are attracted to gold and jewelery in the water, and to be honest, it's just TOO time consuming for me to take all of mine off.

Meanwhile, I'm looking at the new Queen Mary outside my window that just docked in NY this morning. It is positively HUGE and beautiful! I can only imagine how much it cost to go on it. But, Cindy Adams, one of our local columnists was on board for the maiden trip and said they had horrible weather, only one day of sun and her photographer spent the entire trip seasick in the sick bay.

Oooo - that must be a sight. I just recommended someone on these boards go on a four day cruise to nowhere out of NYC on the QE2. I was watching it on the today show this morning. When I looked into it it was only about $600 to do the cruise to nowhere for four days. Which sounded kindof like a bargain. I would definately do that.

I made my husband's eyes roll when I suggested we go down to the port in Boston to see th Grand Princess roll in. It was our cruise ship for our honeymoon and we fell in lovewith the ship and no ship that we have been on since has even come close to how much we loved that one. So I wanted to go see it again since we haven't been able to cruise it again. He thought I was loony.

I am a big fan of cruising. Maybe our next home should be on a cruise ship?

I am up for diving with the sharks today. I went easy on the drinks last night so I am all rested and relaxed - I couldn't fit too many in after pigging out on the Tiramisu (whereas in real life I got insomnia last night due to trying to burn the candle at both ends this week with working long hours and trying to get ready for my son's birthday party Saturday. It always happens to me that I get insomnia when I am stressed out).

Fins to the Left - Fins to the Right (I've been to manya concert Ed - not as big a fan as you but right up there)

I've actually been playing with the idea when we go to move out of hawaii digs, of cruising to San Diego, stay there for a week, then, cruise to the mexican riveria, down through Central america, the panama canal, the carribbean islands up the coast stopping in FL of course to see key west and disney and right up to a new house somewhere to decided later maybe the Carolinas or the cape and islands.

I'm just hoping Buffett doesnt play fenway or if he does he still does the Tweeter Center, it wont be any fun if you cant tailgate before the show.

::yes:: ::yes:: ::yes:: Oh I totally agree - Fenway would just be awful. I have no idea why he is even petitioning that idea. I kindof think, but definately don't know for sure, that it would nix the Tweeter Center which would be a travesty.

Ugh, while your plan for our next home sounds totally awesome, it will involve some stretching of my Google fingers. But I am up for an adventure. We will have to go full tilt and stay in the ships best suites.

Hey, look at the water today - what a perfect day to take the yacht out and dive with the sharks. I vote for a short dive followed by a long lounge on deck

The diving was great and sitting on the deck with breeze...heaven, :cloud9: I could use a refill, you girls leave that bartender alone and let him do his job! :drinking:

Ed the plans sound fabulous. Always up for a nice long cruise:thewave: and the tiramisu was wonderful. As always you are spoiling us.

Susanne, My Parents are booked on the QE2 out of NY in Sept for a 12 day Canada Cruise. The price was not too bad. My dad is wondering if he can get some Spam! When I was on my Cruise in Feb, we met some people form the QE2 on the beach, and they paid 30,000 for a suite. We were docked right beside it looked cool. Loved the black.

Shall we start planning a bon boyage party now?

MOMTOMOOTOO,
Absolutely! Can never wait to long to plan a bon voyage party. Plus we will have to taste food and drinks to make sure the final order is of the highest standards for your parents. Sounds like a wonderful trip! You'll have to give us a brief trip report when they get back.

Ed, I'm trying real hard to leave the bartender alone, but he's just so darned cute!

All right then which Cruise line should we take when we depart our tropical paradise, I've been looking around and Princess,Cunard,Royal Caribbean and Norweigan all have nice Suites let me know The Ship is our private playground it will go where we want when we want, current location Maui Hawaii
N20 37.182 W156 27.943

Since we will be aboard so long, a suite may prove to be a little tight. How about we charter residensea.com this cruise line so we can all have our own aprtments at sea.

I'll start our Hawaiian bon voyage party in the morning. Tonight I will be lazing by the infinity pool, one last time and of course my last 4 hour massage with Jim.:happy2:
