Day 2

We were up at 5am and ready to go out at 6am however it was too early to go anywhere so I went to the food court and got some drinks. At 7am we got the bus to Animal Kingdom as we were having a character breakfast at 8.am. The breakfast was a good start to our holiday and we saw Mickey, Donald, Goofy and Pluto, and I got to eat crispy cream donuts for breakfast, what could be better!

After breakfast we headed to Asia for rope drop, and then straight to Everest, My DD was to short to ride this year so she stayed with my mum and I went alone and got on with out no wait, I loved this ride and hope my DD is tall enough to ride next year as I think she will love it too,

we then all went on to Kali Rapids and were the first people to ride of the day, my mum put on a rain coat and zipped it all the way to the top with the hood on, this ride was good however I thought it was going to be better than it was so was disappointed with it,

we then went on the safari, again no wait, DD absolutely loved this, we saw lots of animals.

We then went to Camp Mickey/ Minnie and watched the Pocahontas show followed by the Lion King show and liked them both, and then we went to greet the characters and got lots of pictures for our photo pass CD.

We then went on the triceratops spin ride on my dd request and thankfully they was no wait as I hate queuing for rides like this, we then called it a day at AK,

We went back to POR and relaxed for a while before getting reading for dinner, we were going to yachtsman steakhouse so we got the bus to Epcot and walked to the yhatclub through the international gateway and got a boat. I and my mum had steak with mashed potatoes which was wonderful, I thought the steak was perfect and DD had grilled chicken and chips, the only chips she ate during the whole trip. I had a cosmoplotion to drink and my mum had half a larger. I can’t ember what we had for starters or desert though DD had the painter dessert which she was delighted about as she had always wanted on at DLRP and they have stopped doing them now.

After dinner we had a walk around the Boardwalk and watch the entertainment, they had a man juggling cans which amused my DD, we then sat on the bench and a Banjo player asked where we were from, he them asked us if we were enjoying the exchange rate and played a song from Mary Poppins because we were English. I loved this area of WDW and knew I had to stay here next year, the location was perfect. We then got the bus back to POR from epcot and it was the end of our first experience of WDW!

i loved the Boardwalk as well.....we saw a guy on a unicycle who was very funny

What a wonderful first day at WDW.
