Gav's face when the diver put the sign up was just so sweet! I never knew you could do something like that either, what a lovely surprise for him.

We arrived at the Magic Kingdom and realised we were the first ones there. Regardless of what happened, we were looking forward to seeing everyone. We waited under the shadow of the monorail for them.

After 30 minutes of waiting, Gavin’s family showed up. They decided not to wait for my family and went in. I sent Gavin in with them and waited outside. After a little while, my family showed up! I saw them coming and they spotted me shortly after. Here are the motley crew! My brother in law was filming me!

I was about to go into the Magic Kingdom with them when I felt a tap on my shoulder ~ it was Gav! He had returned. My nephews and nieces were delighted to see him and we all stepped into the Magic Kingdom together.

We saw the castle together and the kids’ mouths just opened like goldfish! We headed in to get some hats on Main Street after I ducked in and got their first visit buttons.

They all bought different hats in the end and we heard a noise outside so we ran out ~ it was the Family Fun Day Parade!

We stood on the side and cheered ~ my heart soared, we were in Disney and my sister who I feared the most coming on this trip, was chatting and chirping away to me. It was perfect. Gavin was cheering with the kids and we were having the best time ever!

The Gang's All Here!

Today was the day of my hair and make up rehearsal with Ana and Lily from Beaute Speciale and so I knew I did not have a lot of time with them. We headed toward the carousel together…

Dad showed the kids Cinderella’s fountain that I loved when I was little.

Then we hopped on the carousel with no queue!

When we got off, I said goodbye and left Gav to have fun with them. They were really sorry that they had been so late but I told them it was fine, I was just glad they were there!

Hair Rehearsal
So I marched as fast as I could back through the Kingdom and hopped on the bus to the Yacht Club. I got to the room and a few minutes later, there was a knock at the door and in bounced and chattered two of my most favourite people ever. Little did I know at this point that I would get to know them so well!

I have no photos of this part as I realised that Gav had the camera! However, they didn’t let me see my face and hair until the end and when they did I was in shock. I had never worn so much make up in my life and so I had to really absorb what I looked like. I just could not believe it. I was absolutely stunned at what they had done to me. I looked like a much prettier version of myself! MUCH prettier.

They chattered away to me and I was laughing at them almost constantly. I told them I was supposed to be going on my bachelorette party that evening and they asked me what I was wearing. I showed them and they reworked my make up and changed my hair so that I could go out looking glam! I just knew I was in the right hands for my wedding!

I said goodbye and told them I would be in the same room for the wedding.

In the meantime, Gav was in the Kingdom with my family…

And Gav and Jude took some shadow photos. Gavin and I are obsessed by these photos. We take them whenever we can.

They all got back on the buses and off they went!

The Bachelor/ette Parties

Tonight was our planned bachelor/ette party and we had a meal at the House of Blues booked and then we were to go to Pleasure Island, split up and Gav and the men were off to Adventurer’s Club, and me and the ladies were supposed to go to 8trax as I had wanted to for so long.

We had all arranged to meet at the House of Blues and so we changed and headed off…

Gav thought I looked so lovely he took my photo!

Gav was dressed as an adventurer. His last name is Jones and he just loves Indiana Jones and has done since he was a child. The first thing I bought him was an Indiana Jones hat in Disneyland Paris and he bought it with him on our trip (see below). We also sponsor animals (mainly crocs!) at Australia Zoo and so they sent us shirts for there. They're now wedding-ified (you'll see later!).

We tried and tried to get a normal picture of ourselves as we waited for the DTD bus…

House of Blues

We arrived first at the House of Blues and took some photos. Gav and I are huge Elvis fans and so this was the ideal place for us!

I go inside to check in and find Melissa and Robert, who already found my parents despite having no idea what they looked like! We went out to the patio to wait for the others. My sister wasn’t coming as she was coming to 8trax instead. My dad and Dave were babysitting and my mum and sister were coming out with me.

Anyway, we all chatted outside…

Eventually everyone turned up, and we went inside...

We all go in and they take us to the back of the restaurant where there are two tables and Gav sat with his family and I with my parents and we ordered our food…

My mum also had them and was surprised at how delicious they were!

For our entrees, Dad had the steak…

Robert was delighted with his!

So was Melissa! The conversation was so funny on our table but I cannot remember at all what it was about...!

I had the jambalaya which I could not finish ~ and so did Gav, behind me! I ended up with this… which we gave away!

Anyway, we were finishing up the meal and paying the bill, and I was saying goodbye to Melissa and Robert as they had their floral meeting at home the next day. On the way out I stop to take a photo of Gav’s parents.

We walked through to PI and I waited for my penfriend (and bridesmaid) Andrea and her husband Michael who were coming for the evening, and my mum and sister. Andy and Michael turned up and later on my mum and sister, but in the meantime Gav went ahead into the adventurer’s club with his dad, brother in law, brother and his girlfriend.

We hung around outside before my mum and sister arrived:

To cut a long story short, Gav’s “men” decided they were too tired and he was left with his dad and Michael. I had no idea and was in 8trax dancing with Andrea, my sister, mum and mother in law to be, when they showed up! After larking around on the dancefloor, and Andy and I making up some dance like we should have done when we were teenagers, thousands of miles apart…but drinking various cocktails too.

….my sister and mum, mil and fil to be all decided to head home at about midnight (they had far to go back to All Star Movies) and me, Gav, Michael and Andy stayed on…

Footloose, but not so fancy-free!

Back to the dancefloor, Andy and I continued to “bust some moves” whilst a group of people tried to join in…..it was so funny, we were all doubled over laughing. I took my enormous heels off to dance to “Footloose” and was tracked by the Disney Security as a risk (as opposed to the woman who was completely drunk and nearly *excuse my language* dry humping the man she was molesting on the dancefloor. We were laughing at the injustice, just like in Footloose….
