i really really want a wedding and it's at the point that if i don't find anyone i will literally marry myself just to have one

well you could always do one of those pacts where if you and a friend aren't married by 30 you marry each other

and boom, big party with gifts and tax benefits

I'm taking a wedding planning class this year for school hehehe this will be so fun

Besides two classes, all of my classes this year are like that one, ridiculously easy. The same teacher who taught me that Panama Canal was a big ditch teaches bible history and you better believe I am taking it. I am his star pupil with my creativity, so I'd be an idiot not to take it.

Because high school didn't teach us ANYTHING actually useful.

my biggest problem with high school is that while history, english, science, algebra and all IS useful for college, only having those subjects as mandatory buys into the "the only thing you are going to do after high school is go to college and your parents will pay for it" idea, even though college isn't for everyone and not everyone's parents can afford to send them to college.

there should be a class that teaches how to live on a minimum wage salary. there should be a class that teaches students how to file taxes, budget appropriately, how to get the most for your money, how to apply for a job, interview skills etc. and it should be mandatory because even if you do go to college, these skills will still be invaluable

last year there was a dance party and laser tag and glow in the dark volleyball and a trip to magic kingdom
