My family and I are heading back to Pop next Wednesday!:banana: We will be travelling with 3 kids, ages 8,7 and 4 and there are beside themselves. It's been 2 years since they have been. We didn't make any special requests and will just take whatever they give us. We'll just be happy to be back at our happy place! :yay::yay:

Let us know what room/building you get when you get back home! Have fun!

Had a wonderful stay, and a wonderful housekeeper, at Pop last week. We looked forward to what our housekeeper would do with Figment each day. A few pics:

Pop remains our favorite value resort!

Soooo cute!! Just curious what section were you in? When we stayed in the 50's our maid was really good like that :)

Hi Goofy22,
We too were in the 50's section (Building 3, Room 3160). Our housekeeper's name was Kathy. My daughter likes to put something in the window to "mark" our room, and she's been bringing Figment. We would put Figment in the window each day, Kathy would take him and do her thing. Something so little can make your stay that much more fun!

I called housekeeping before we left to let the manager know that we were pleased with Kathy. She was appreciative that we called.

How nice of you to call! Did you know that if you send an email mentioning the housekeeper (or any CM) by name and how pleased you were, that it will be noted on their permanent record? Unfortunately, speaking to a manager does not do the same.:thumbsup2

I like the figment pics but I hope you didn't use that tooth brush anymore. I really wouldn't want someone I didn't know especially someone who's job it is to "clean" to touch my tooth brush. I'm just saying! Makes you wonder did they use my tooth brush to clean with!

Yeah, I was kind of creeped out by that too. I'll be at Pop in a couple of weeks and now I'll make sure we put our toothbrushes away before we leave the room.

Just booked today for 10/29!! Can't wait to be there for Halloween. This will be our 4th stay at Pop and the kids love it, hubby not so much! Thanks for all the updated information.

I am thinking to request either 60's or 70's for my standard view room. Is either one better than the other? I know it is just a request, but I'm just asking? 14 days til we go!:banana:

Does anyone know for the refillable mug, what sorts of drinks are offered at POP? I was wondering if they had lemonade there :)

LOL, ok guys. She also touched the pillow I slept on, the phone I used for our Mickey wakeup call, the fresh towels that were neatly hanging on the rack, she must have touched our toiletries around the sink because the sink was all wiped up, and well, lots of other things in the room.

I like the 60's but would be happy with either. We always request 60's.

The offer light lemonade for the mugs. That is really the only thing I get with my mug.:)

I get that. I just have a problem with a stranger touching something that I'm going to put in my mouth, especially if I don't see her touching it but I know she touched it. I didn't mean any offense and I'm not really a germaphobe but when it comes to the bathroom, don't touch my stuff.:thumbsup2

They have to touch your stuff to some extent if you want a clean room. I agree with not wanting anyone to touch my toothbrush ....this is why i always bring one of those hanging things that shoes normally go in. I put all my toiletries in there and then hanging it on the rod in the closet. That way all my personal stuff is off the counter and the Mousekeeper can wipe away without worrying about my stuff being in her way, plus it keeps all my stuff organized!

What are some of the best non-preferred rooms to ask for, at POP? I was thinking a non-preferred one in the '70s building.
