This morning I learned the very sad news that one of our POP friends, Minnie Lor, and her husband did not survive the Joplin, MO tornadoes yesterday. Lorie was a long time DISer and wonderful friend of GKTW. She and her husband had just returned from a WDW anniversary trip on May 21st. Our heartfelt thoughts and prayer are with their family.

RIP Minnie Lor. Your smile will be missed.

Bags are packed - everything printed out and ready - laundry all done and house all clean. Tomorrow afternoon we dismiss the kids from school, tell them they are going to Disney World - and off we go!!!!!!!!!!!! We are spending Thursday at Universal - then we check into POP bright and early Friday morning for 10 glorious days!!!! Thanks for all the help everyone and I will report back when we return home. Hopefully I will get the scoop and Twinkle Tiramisu and promise to have updated menus with pricing from the food court. TTFN!

We stayed at pop last year for 10 days and are doing it again this year. Yeah for Universal my girls are asking to go but my youngest is still young for Universal there wouldn't be much she could go on at this point.

Kelly when I called about making sure our request were on the reservation !!The cm told me there is No such thing as ADJOINING rooms they are all connecting !!Believe me before I go I will call again and get a CM who knows what she's talking about !!

Does anyone know how early you can check in to at least get your room key with your tickets loaded on it?

Reason I'm asking is that we will be arriving the day before we check into Pop and would like to have our keys so we could visit a park that morning since we will be in the area already. I know we won't get a room till later though which is not a big deal.

I'm curious about your question -- your package includes tickets with a different arrival day from your hotel stay? How does that work?

we are now arriving the 18th , spending he 18th on room only resies then the 19-29th on free dining.. the 18th will be spent lounging by the pool!

You can get your park tickets up to 3 days before your package starts. So if (for example) you check into POP (day your package starts) on June 8th, but you arrive on June 7th (staying elsewhere) and want to access a park that day - you can pick up your tickets.
