Just finished booking yet another "MAGICAL TRIP to POP!" for July.

3 rooms, 11 people (9 females, 2 yr old nephew and me - HELP!!!)

Play golf??,women seem to stay away from the course. but really it sounds like fun. Women seem to get so much more out of WDW,this Is comeing from a Dad and and trips with my DS. Mom will not come with in flying distance of the world. We sometimes seem out of place as we are so crazy for the Mouse. You will have a ball and you can escourt your nephew around,have a guys only group. He will be In Disney heaven and you can show him the ropes or maybe vice-versa

We just got booked for POP ...YAAAAYYYYYY 2nd time around for us and cant wait.!!!!! April 30th for 8 days!!! so excited!!!!

What would be a great room.. for a younger couple, with no kids.. They are celebrating their Honeymoon at Pop, and I wanted to suggest to my friends maybe one of the building by the water??

Just got amazing airfare out of Manchester NH. It was 665.00 for 4 of us non-stop. I did have to add a day to our trip we won't be coming back til Monday. So we are now going for 10 days!! Now I just need to wait 7 months.

Now hoping the re release FD since I'm booked right now under the kids free promo. Fd would save me another 350.00.

I can't say for sure - I'm just guessing - but we are also flying out of Manchester NH and got a similar deal through Southwest.

That is correct Southwest. After I booked the same flight going down 30 minutes later was back up to 119.00. I pefer the 67.00 I paid.

lets talk bed bugs .. those of you that were recently there - was it a problem? A friend of mine had a friend that just came back and said it was a huge problem.. however, I have not seen it on here so I wonder how accurate that report is.. anyone care to chime in?

I haven't heard of any problems at POP lately or AKL either with bedbugs!

I am not finding any deal with SWA for August at all in fact they are scarey !!! I am even looking at AirTran which has much better rates but not non stop!!Ugh!!!

That's the first reference I have heard of any bug problem,,,besides the summer "love bugs" outside!!!

Bedbug discussions come and go...there is a bedbug infestation in the US right now and many, many hotels have experienced the little creatures. They hike on guests luggage, clothing etc and so the resorts do not know if there are bedbugs in a room unless a guests recognizes the issue and reports it.

Disney says their housekeepers are trained to look for bedbugs - but I am honestly not sure how well this is done.

We simply check the bedbug registry for any recent reports - the problem with the registry is that reports are from guests, so a resort could have bedbugs, but not be reported or guests may think it was bedbugs when it wasn't at all. Also, the only way you would come across a report is if you type in the name of a hotel exactly as the person did who reported it - so we check a few different ways - and arrive prepared to do a careful check. Then we relax and have a great stay!

I am hoping the same thing. That is a great price for 4 nonstop. I fly out of Boston and I didn't see anything that cheap although I am using FFM for 2 of the 3 tickets so I just had to pay for one and I figured DH would want to fly with us I was stuck paying 300 for 1...

We were there last year at there peak. They were only really bad for a couple of days. I felt Like I was in love bug alley. UGH! Pop was just covered with them for 2 days especially the pool area.

We just booked with a military rate for September. Will be me, my mom and 2 kids. I'm a little nervous because last time I stayed with DH we really didn't enjoy the hotel at all, but we got an awesome rate so are giving it another shot (when its not Christmas and New Years week). I think we're going to do deluxe dining. Can't wait!
