I'm told by a Disney CM that Pop will be used as overflow for the cheerleaders in February since they will most likely fill up the All Stars. So, for those of you who've stayed at Pop in past Februarys, did you notice cheerleader groups? Did you hear them practicing at night?

And do you know what time they eat dinner? We have a 4 year old so we usually leave the parks around 4 or 5 and head back to our room and have dinner at the resort food court. But I'm thinking....if the girls are kept busy all day at WWofS, then they might get released around the same time and go back to their resort and have dinner.

Pop Warner kids haven't stayed at Pop in the past. I wouldn't worry about it; phone CM's aren't exactly known for always having accurate information.

Hey everyone! I requested building 1, should I do online check-in and hope I get my request or just check-in when I get there and ask if there is anything in buiding one if I didn't get it?

It's been my experience, twice, at Pop that I can do online check-in and have my exact room requests on my reservations honored as well.

Another strange question! Would I have a problem shipping a small package to Pop? I'm leaving for WDW on Wednesday and I'm looking to get some business cards for my son and I'm not sure I'll be able to have them delivered here at home before I leave Wednesday morning at 4 a.m. What's the chances I'll get this small package when we check in at Pop on Thursday? He doesn't actually need the cards until Sunday. Nothing like waiting until the last minute which I am famous for!!!!! Thanks again for any help you can give me.

Our only complaint is the buses - they are AWFUL this week, and we're not the only ones who seem to think so - we've heard tons of complaints. We've waited upwards of 30 minutes for every bus we've gotten this week so far and they're packing them WAY too full. It's awful. We're lucky that we have a car, so we'll be just driving to the parks from here on out. I feel really sorry for those who don't have a choice.

Yes the bus situation looked bad all last week when we there at Pop...but fwiw, I have always seen it look that way at Value resorts...that's a big reason I don't like staying in them.

We also had a car and used it all but twice. The ride on the bus back from MK the night after the MVMCP when the driver totally missed the exit to go back to the hotel and took us on a 20 minute excursion around the regular interstates around WDW did me in. It was 1am, me and my 6 year old were standing at the very front of a very crammed full bus, and I was literally panicking and in tears when I saw where we were headed and the cars on the road zooming all around us. That was enough bus for me.

I shipped a package to pop last week and I still have 10 days till I get there and they said they would hold it no problem for me. Just put your name (name the reservation is under) and your confirmation # on it and they will hold it

I have stayed at Pop twice in February and at least once was during the Cheerleading !!I do believe there were some cheerleaders at Pop, but no problems , these are teens and they stay up LATE and sleep in when they can !!!Only problem I hadf was at DHS when they were holding us all at the gate until ALL the Cheerleaders were checked in !!Even so it only delayed y=us about 10 mins !!!

I too have shipped packages to Pop with NO problem !!

Just wanted to check in to say that we will be celebrating Christmas with my College Program son(who works in Epcot Innoventions) in one week--that is SEVEN days! All of you that will be in the World during the holidays make sure to treat the CMs extra special since they are working to make your holiday magical! (especially all those College Program kids who won't be sharing the holidays with their own families)

We're here at Pop now. We checked in on 11/27 and got a room in the 50's - lakeside. It's nice and quiet and we have a view of the construction across the lake, which is pretty neat. We were a little worried about going to a value for the first time, but we LOVE Pop!!!

Does it look like the refurb is complete on Building 2? I've been following this thread and at last report that was the final building to be completed. We'll be at Pop in 2 weeks and I'm hoping all the refurbs are finished. Thanks!

From what we've seen and heard, it appears all refurbs are done.

Yes, there was someone on the Pop refurb thread who reported all rooms in building 2 are done, no more work going on.
