Thanks TammiDZ for the pictures and info. We will be down there on Sat, the 11th. I don't exactly know what building or area that hubby wants, but that is his thing. I just want a 4th floor facing the lake. We are packed with the exception of our carry ons, but we will deal with that either today or tomorrow.

I've always had the CM note my requests when I make my reservations and then fax the resort @5 days before we arrive to reiterate our requests. We've ALWAYS gotten our requests...Good luck!

With the fried chicken, the sides were mashed potatoes and cornbread--yum to both. Also, had green beans with onions--I think they were onions. I didn't care for this dish--beans were too undercooked and the onions (if that's what they were) tasted weird (looked odd too).

Thanks I thought it was green beans. But I just like mine plain so I will be sticking with the potatoes.

You can ask to substitute the green beans for any other side they have or double potatoes.

Just got back to my room after a rainy night in hippy dippy pool. Building #4 - 1st floor, closed all the way around for refurbs.

Just booked my bounceback. Can't wait for 2011!!!

We already have requested connecting rooms, and ground floor (my sister is in a wheelchair), I'm just hoping we get a refurbed room as well. 3 weeks from today we will be there!!

From the reports the refurbs are nearly done, with work remaining in buildings 4 (in progress), 1, and 2. Looking pretty good that all refurbs will be done by October. If you want to have a better chance of getting a refurbed room, call back to update your reservation with a building request. Room requests are pretty limited via online check-in - you can't request a refurbed room or a specific building via online check-in. It tends to be just ground floor, pack n play, fridge, and "near transportation."
