Just did my online check-in for our first reservation, have to wait for the 11th for the second one. It's getting really close now!

Have a great trip. I have never used online check in. When we stay at pop the line moves pretty fast and I don't mind waiting to be honest.

Hi everyone! Getting excited for our Pop stay next month.

So I called Disney reservations yesterday to add a room request to our ressie (80s section, 4th floor – we are 80s babies!). They added it in and the CM said that I would receive an email confirming the request. But I have not yet received anything. My question to those who’ve added a room request, did you receive an email confirmation? Or were you able to see your request when you viewed your ressie online? (Because it’s not listed there as well). I really didn’t want to incur any more long distance charges to call Disney back if I didn’t really have to. I do know that the request is not guaranteed, but I wanted to make sure our preferences were officially noted.

I made some requests myself and I have never received a confirmation for it. Hmm......

Even if you received a new confirmation it wouldn't have your building request on it.

When I got to the pictures of Pop from our previous trips, I knew i wanted to go back again. Pop is definitely "home" to us!

GREAT choice!!! POP is "home sweet home" to us too!
We have stayed at several of the moderates, values and 1 delux and we now go back to POP everytime! We will be there this year from Dec 16-23 with me, DH, DD(22), DGS (11), DGD (11), DGD (11). Wish me luck, going to Disney with 3- 11 year olds!

The only thing I asked for is 60's section facing the lake. But beacuse I have a room only he added all the other things so we may not have to switch rooms.

That is how we feel now. We have stayed at the moderates and some of the deluxes. I'm trying to figure out why we spent so much money. When we first tried pop. It was a extra trip during FD so we went with a value. I never expected to like it so much to return. But we do. This year will be our 3rd stay.

Hey there Jen.... that's a really good point. I have stayed at Pop more times than I can even count... and I always have a request, usually 70's building or 80's. I have never once seen it on the confirmation page that comes straight from Walt Disney Travel Company. I wonder if the poster is seeing something created by his Travel Agent.

I will however note, that Member Services at Disney Vacation Club DOES put the requests on the confirmation page.

I wouldn't even be surprised if the presence of requests on the confirmation has to do with who processed it.

Wow, I've never seen anything like that coming from Walt Disney Travel Company. I've stayed at Pop 7 or 8 times (I'm losing track) as well as Mods and Deluxe through the years and they've never noted my requests so that I can see them on my reservations.

I have also received similar confirmation of my room requests. I made my reservations online through the Disney website and received the standard email confirmation/invoice. After I called in with my room requests I received an email from Disney Destinations which contains a link to view the reservation including the special requests.

Hmmm...maybe requests are only noted on room only reservations? I still haven't received anything except an invoice confirming my final payment, but there is no link attached to access the ressie. Guess I'll give them a call.....
