We'll be here on Monday! I am so excited. This thread has been such a great help!

Have a great time!!
checking into POP tomorrow...anyone know about a delivery from Garden grocer?
Bell service will hold it for you.
I made a room request for 70s facing the lake for June, but just saw a video of the construction of Art of A and am now wondering if I made a mistake. Will it be noisy? Is anybody just back?

I don't think there will be a ton of noise. I'm not worried about it. We had the fireworks last year that were going off from the ESPN across the street for the marathon. I could here them but nothing to loose sleep over. I'm requesting 60's lakeside again.

Not sure if this is true or not, but I remember reading SOMEWHERE :rotfl2: that you can only ship one box per room? is this true? or since I have a room-only for one night then the package the day after (both at POP) can I ship one box to each?

I really don't want to lug diapers for 10 days through the airport!:thumbsup2

Hi,

We are staying at Pop in September and I was wondering if there is room for a twin size inflatable bed in the room? Thanks

Maybe, but I think you'll need to move the table and chairs around to do so. My guess is it will be tight.

I ahve never done it. But I have seen others that just move the tabel and chairs over to the window and it works fine.

Kelly - Off topic - but are you flying Southwest? I noticed the prices dropped a LOT around the time you are traveling - I know not everyone checks airfare every single day like the loon that I am:upsidedow - sorry everyone...:flower3: back to the regularly scheduled POP info.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for all the help I received on this thread before our trip to Pop. We a couple from Australia who spent four days at Pop last month. It was wonderful.

I sent a fax a couple of days prior to our arrival (fax number found on these boards - thank you) to request a king bed room after a 30 or so hour flight from Adelaide, and guess what, we were given room number 0203 (king bed) in the 70's block. Amazing - great room. It was a handicapped room, which was of no bother to us, and, guess what, it had a fridge in it. No extra charge.

The room was close to Pop Central and because the 70's area has no pool, it was lovely and quiet. We couldn't have asked for anything more perfect.

Thank you to everyone who answered my questions before we went and for all the great hints to make our vacation simply magical.

Have read of some guests doing this - keep in mind the rooms are small and it will be a tight squeeze. :thumbsup2

So glad you enjoyed POP had a great visit! Did you stay at another resort or move on to some place else after your 4 days WDW visit? Hope all of your visit to the U.S. was wonderful! :goodvibes

Hi,

We were able to fit a single person sized air mattress in the space between the wall of the bathroom and the closest bed. It was not a twin size and therefore smaller. My DS12 at the time slept on it but my DH also uses it when he goes camping. I'm not sure of the exact measurements but I know that it is smaller then a twin.

Thanks for the info. I think I'll try it we are driving so we'll have the room. My DD9 is having a grown spurt and I'm not sure how comfortable it would be for us in one bed.

You can do it, but it will be tight. You'll have to play with the arrangement. We once did this with a single man cot and a pack n play at ASMu, which has the same sized rooms as Pop. It was tight, but we did it. At Pop, we also used a small child sized air mattress with headboard (smaller than twin, probably closer to toddler bed sized) and had no problem. You'll want to stand the air mattress upright out of the way during the day. Otherwise, walking will be a challenge.

NEVER to early to start packing!:rotfl:

I am getting excited...5 more long months to go!

I know us too! I keep trying to tell myself it is going by fast because I booked in Feb. It does not seem to be working. I am ready to start packing everything up. All the kids clothes that I am buying for the summer I always make sure it works for Disney not for school. I have to stop that.:lmao:
But that is all I have on my brain!

Doesn't look like anyone responded to your question so thought I'd just share my experience.

I always ship down a couple of small boxes (1 for snacks; 1 for toiletries) & a case of water and have never had a problem. Last month I shipped down 2 boxes, a case of water plus we had a couple of special deliveries waiting (flowers, cookie bouquet). The CMs were very helpful, called luggage assistance for a cart and delivered it all to our room for me. :)

Once, a couple of years ago, I had a problem with a case of water getting "temporarily misplaced." ;) But I've never had any mention of it being a problem to have more than one package. Some of the other resorts do charge a fee I believe, but I've never paid anything extra at POP.

Of course, it's Disney so your mileage may vary. But I think you can ship down a couple of boxes of diapers without concern. Just be sure to address the packages as directed on the first page of this thread. :goodvibes

Is there any skim or low fat 1% milk for sale in the food court? I have seen a lot of posts about milk, but none for low-fat or skim.

What's the cost if they do have it?

We will only be there for 3 days, so aren't getting the mugs-so any updated pricing at all for the food court (food and/or drinks) would be very appreciated. All the online menus I can find are really old or not very complete. I am really looking for breakfast, because our other meals will be eaten in the parks.

Thanks!
