Thanks. That description actually helped me out. :) I have two kids but one is under 3 so he's not on a plan. But, I figured that we may buy him his own meal now and then but couldn't figure out how to do it. So I can go get my own meal and one kid meal. Then dh could go through the line and get his and another kid meal.

Since my card was only showing 1 adult, I couldn't get more than one adult meal at a time...

I'm not sure that's true...

It's been a couple years since I have been with my kids but my experience is you can use all the credits at your discretion, it doesn't have to be as stated on your card. For example, we went to pick up a CS dinner one evening and hubby and I both got a meal and we got another adult meal for our boys to share. The kid at the counter said he would have to charge 3 adult meals (our card said 2A,2C) but since there is no distinction in the credits between adult and children for CS credits, it really made no difference in the end

You are correct but only some of the time ;)
It really depends on the person at the register. Some didn't care if I had more than one adult meal and some told me I shouldn't have more than one since my card said so.
I just chose to avoid the discussion by doing it one meal at a time. There wasn't much of a line at the register when we were there anyway...

We're going back in December and staying at Pop, as usual, but this time with both DDs, SIL and all grandkids. I thought (assumed) that with 2 rooms on 1 reservation, all the meals on our DDP would show up on all the cards. Also I had assumed that all the meal credits would show up on the cards with no distinction between children and adults.
I've not done a big party with multiple rooms before, and haven't taken a child 3-9 in 6 years, so I'm a little out of my depth.
I've been on this Pop thread for over a year... I'm glad it's on a subject now with important info I didn't know I needed!
(Posting on my phone while on the commuter van so can't really see what I've said very easily, so please excuse my typing)

So excited that I had to share....Going back to Pop for the fourth time Feb 25-March 3, 2012! Taking my MIL with us. She hasn't been to WDW since there was only Magic Kingdom and Epcot was being built. I bought us both a Passporter and we are busy, busy planning away. You can never start too early! :cool1:

We are going on our 3rd trip to pop. I think this year I'm going to get the meal this time. Question if you are on the QSDP do you still get desert with this meal?
I'm not sure if the Corn bread is consdiered the desert part of the meal?

We did the QSDP last year and loved it so we added to our package this year.

Yes you get dessert and a drink!!!

Don't take my word for it, just ask ;) I'm not saying you can't have all the credits on all cards, I'm only telling what happened to us. Next time, I'm going to make sure to ask if we can get all the kids on all the cards because it was a bit of a hassle some places. I know you can get all the credits on both cards when you get a family suite at ASMu so it must be possible as well when you have 2 rooms at Pop I imagine... :thumbsup2

Unfortunately it is not that simple. I wish it were. We always get 2 rooms at POP. We have 1 room with a king for me and DH and 1 room for the kids (next door or adjoining---kind of like our own suite:rotfl:).
Last time we were there I ask if I could have ALL the meal credits just on one card so I would be the only one trying to keep up with them. I was told that they could put only the meals in each room on one card.
She explained that I would have 2 cards with meal credits on them. One that included all the credits for 1 room and 1 card that included all the meal credits for the other room.
So if you are wanting all cards to have access to all the meal credits, each room will have their own seperate meal credits based on the amount of people registered in that room, they say that they can't/won't join them all into one:headache:

I hope I haven't confused you:confused: and that this makes some sort of sense:laughing:

It does make sense but it's too bad :lmao:. I guess we'll have to split the credits... oh well, we will still eat and have fun! :rotfl2:

We were at POP this past October. We are a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids). We had 2 rooms under one reservation and all of the credits were on all 4 of the cards. We could have used any of the cards to order meals for the whole family. I don't know why they would have told you that it can't be done since it was automatically done that way for us.

It could be because there were 2 adults and 2 children which doesn't go over the 4 person limit per room? I was also told each room had to have the people staying in that room only on the card for the meal plan.

Then again there are those random few employees who know how to do things that others don't or were never trained to do. I have been told someone was able to do different things here that when I got to the resort I was told was impossible not only by the CM but also by that persons supervisor. Then went to guest services who did it for me no problem. :thumbsup2

What I have been told is as long as both rooms are on one reservation number you can have all credits on all cards. It is really divided more by reservation number than by room.

That's just what I've been told though, I won't put that to the test until June.

WOW!!! This thread never stops....this is such a help! I love DISboards!!!

So don't flame me on this one.....but the renovations....are all the rooms done now? Or most of them? I still see pictures with wallpaper borders popping up. Did they also redo the bathrooms, some don't look so good.

Thanks everyone!

And again...all rooms are completely renovated. :earsgirl:

Can anyone tell me what kind of food stuff they sell in the Classic Hall? I'm meaning milk, orange juice, stuff like that.

Nikki they have all that. We usually picked up that or a water and used our mugs and saved the drinks for later. Worked out great. They had white, chocolate and strawberry milk. My younges will only drink chocolate milk.

Pop has the best food court. They have a awesome Ice cream section lots to choose from.

When I went with a group of disbaled last October we were 10 people and 5 rooms !!We stayed for 5 nights and each day we used 1 rooms keys (2 people ) for all 10 of us it worked perfectly and my co chaperone was most impressed with my doing it that way !!

I am very happy to have found this thread and be able to get some great information. This will be our first time staying at a Disney Resort and we picked Pop. (Will be second time at WDW.) I have a prefered room booked for May 29th- June 3rd. I chose to do a prefered room due to the fact that my DS illness makes him tiered and I wanted to be close to the bus stop (mostly for when we get back from parks at night.) I saw in a previous post people recommending standard room, how about any recommendations for prefered rooms? TIA:goodvibes

I don't have any recommendations for you for preferred rooms ( we have been to POP our last 3 trips but always stayed in non-preferred) - But I did want to say, we will be there the same time (5/27-6/5) and our 7 year old son is also named Liam. :) So if you hear some crazy Mom yelling "LIAM" in the pool it will probably be me! ;)

In 3 days I will be paying off our balance. It is sooo close, it is now becoming *real* - I cannot believe I have kept this trip a secret since October. :scared1: My kids are getting restless! lol! They cannot believe we don't have something, anything! booked for a Disney trip!! We fly into Orlando on May 25th - we will spend our first day at Universal (to meet Mr. Squarepants:ssst:) Then we check in to POP on the 27th! I just started making our window decorations today.. (yup - I am bit of a decorating dork ) - and started sneaking things into the suitcases. I cannot wait until we are home:cloud9:.
