So does anyone know when the kiddie pool is reopening?
Has anyone just got back and have word on the baby pool? We will be there in 3 weeks and I am hoping it is open. Anyone?

So does anyone know when the kiddie pool is reopening?
Got back from 8 nights at Pop last night.
I requested Bldg 1, Flr 4. They gave me Bldg 4, Flr 1. I know that's a desirable location for some people but we wanted to be close to a parking lot and not too far from the food court. The CM found us the room we wanted and all was well. To whoever checked in on May 9th around noon and got bldg 4, Flr 1, you're welcome.
We had actual water pressure out of the faucett. It was too much pressure really. That's the first time in 6 stays that that has happened.
I can confirm that frozen coke is gone, replaced by Gold Peak tea.
The baby pool was still closed.
Most beer was $5.25 per bottle at Everything Pop.
The smoking section outside the food court is still there. I was surprised to find so many smoking sections along Memory Lane. It ruined what used to be a great place to take a walk.
I had Beef and Broccoli from the food court the day we checked in. It was delicious. We got a pizza one night and took it back to the room, not so delicious.
I have about 10 pages of this thread to catch up on. Sorry if some of this is old news.
Pikester, I was looking at top floor, lakeview, either Jukebox or Tramp...my primary concern really, is quiet. (I love the energy of the place but notsomuch outside my room!) How did you find it for that? Good to hear the Jukebox building isn't too far from the parking lots. It's likely we'd rent a car and dh would be schlepping stuff... Thanks for any input!![]()
Could someone explain to me the Baby Pool- Pictures dont do it justice.
Is it like a pool or a spinkler??
I don't even remember seeing a kiddie pool the time we stayed there - where isit?![]()
It is a zero entry pool. The water doesn't get very deep. There are several fountains or jets of water that shoot up from the bottom of the pool. I am not sure how to describe them.
There is also a soft play area for kids. It has a Surfing Goofy at it. This is much like the soft water play areas at Epcot, and The Hundred acre wood at MK.
I booked 2 rooms at pop, i was wondering when i checked in if they are gonna ask for 2 different credit cards?
It was pretty quiet, except for when the fireworks are going off at Epcot and the breeze is sending the sound your way. Scared the you know what out of me!
Thanks for the Info, I will be staying there in July!Glad to hear the water pressure is better, as it was lousy last year when I was there. Glad to also hear you were accomodated with the room you needed.

So how do you get from Pop to Osprey Ridge for golf?
With just me and DS16 going, I don't think we'll be using it much! But I figure if it's really hot, and we're pressed for time, as we walk by it each time he can just stick his head into one of the fountains to cool off! Last trip we had about 4 days (early August) with heat indices of 105 and my kids had the floppy hats and they'd just fill them with water at any drinking fountain and dump them on their heads!

we are in the planning stages of our trip- with a 4 1/2 year old.
I figured to stay in the parks until after the parade-- head to a resort for a TS dinner-- then back to the hotel for swimming and early bed. (sept heat)
Pool will be important for us. The kiddie pool is exactly what I am looking for.
(will I even want to do that??)
