Which hotel rooms at the POP is the quietest rooms?
There were hoards of Brazilians there!! I had never witnessed this migration before and was completely shocked by the amount of people. There seemed to be no escaping the groups in the parks (no tour groups stayed at the Pop that I noticed.... I wonder where they stayed?). No one was particularly rude and we did not witness any line cutters. But they were everywhere and took up SO much room!! Also, they would occasionally break into song at the top of their lungs.

Buckeye Gal - First off, this thread is AMAZING! You did a great job and I was so excited to find this after a friend suggested this board to me.....
Our Pop stay (first ever!) is coming up March 22-28th and I'd really like to have a 4th floor fireworks view. From what I've read the best way to maybe get this is to send a fax 4 days ahead of my check in date asking for that? I need to find the right tone between groveling and sounding entitled. Also we need a pack-n-play for the baby. It should be clear in my reservations but should I restate that on the fax? Any thing I should add to the fax to make it looked upon more kindly? Would an actual phone call work better?
Oh my gosh... so excited.![]()

I'm new here, but I've been staring at the room maps for a couple of days now. It looks like you would be ideal in rooms 4108-4112. I'm not sure if they are king or double though. Rooms 4102-4107 are connecting rooms, so you probably don't want those. Room 4101 may be okay, but it's close to the elevators and ice. Here are the links that I used to determine that:

ETA: I don't have 10 posts yet, so I can't post linksI tried putting spaces in them to get them to post. You can cut and paste, then take out the space if you want to see the maps.

I faxed a room request over about 7 days prior to arrival. When we arrived they already had my exact room request which was bldg 4-50's lakeside ground floor 4154.
Isn't building 4 the 60's?
I asked her about online check-in. I asked her what the status and advantages are to using it. She admitted there had been glitches in the system, but it should be working again soon. The advantage of using it depends mostly on your arrival time. If you're in a hurry to get checked in and off to the parks and you arrival time is typically a busy one for the regular check-in, then you might be happier using online check-in.
I am at the 10 day check-in point.
I just did the online check-in. You can't reserve much, but that was ok with me. I have preferred reserved so I'm fine with any building/room. The only options you have for requests are :
1) ground floor
2) close to transportation
3) pack n play
The one plus I noticed to online check-in was the ability to use the "online check in" line. So I'm hoping that will make things go quicker as I'm arriving at 3 pm on a Friday and it'll be a busy lobby day.
Message I received after completing my check in online :
Thank you for submitting your information. When you arrive at your Resort hotel, remember to look for the Online Check-In Service logo at the front desk. Simply present your photo ID to receive your Key to the World card and Welcome Folder.

I will definitely report back how it goes if that helps u. We'll have our laptop with us so I can check-in here on this thread on March 20.I'm just wondering if check in at the on-line desk is really much faster than regular check in.
