No roll a ways, and only 4 people in a room or 5 wit han child under 3 in a crib. You can try an airmatress though.

There are only 4 of us, 3 women and a young man, he needs a place to sleep by himself. So, I guess I'll bring a small twin air mattress. I'm thinking one would probably fit over by the door, it seems like last time I was there there was probably room for a twin mattress right there.

Thanks!!

Yes dmslush, unfortunately you'll need an air mattress ---and I sympathize. Just because one inquires about a rollaway bed, doesn't necessarily mean they're trying to put more than 4 in the room. If you have an older son and daughter who probably wouldn't share a bed, a rollaway or air mattress could be a necessity. I've encountered this issue. If you won't have a car to pick one up down there, perhaps have it shipped to POP so it'll be waiting for you at the front desk.

We will be driving, I was just hoping to not have to go through the hassle of an air mattress. I guess i need to start shopping. I hope I can find a twin that inflates itself. I'd hate to make the poor boy blow up his own bed LOL

We are at POP now...loving our first time here.

I used a twin aerobed last May at Pop. I moved the table and chairs to in front of the window (better place for it anyway) I put the bed along the wall by the TV/cabinet. Each day I stood the mattress up and out of the way. A couple of things to note. It's colder on the floor so ask for an extra blanket, pack a blanket, or wear winter pj's.

I bought my aerobed from Amazon for $30 with free shipping. Yes, I got a heck of a good deal. You could ship direct BUT the electric pump has to be plugged in 24 hours before first use. So read the fine print or do lots of investigating. So I had it shipped to me, plugged it in and tested out mattress. Then I packed all of that in my suitcase. That's can be a pain to fit that and clothes.

Hi!I'm thinking of doing this for my September trip, was the aerobed the name of the bed? I'm doing some research and want to get one, just curious to see what you thought of this bed..was it comfy enough for a few days? Did have any issues getting extra bedding from mousekeeping or did you bring it yourself? And was there any issue having it in the room by mousekeeping? Thanks!!:goodvibes

No problem with mousekeeping having it in the room. I stood it up against the wall between the bathroom and bed. I don't remember if there was a blanket in there or whether I requested one. I brought a throw and was freezing. It's because the mattress was by the cold air return. I would've been fine in a regular bed but the cold air return was freeaing.

Aerobed is the brand and had no problem with leaks or getting blown up with air pump. It had a velvet top so you didn't slide off. I'm just a bit on the pooh size, have a bad back and am 40 something. It would've been fine 3-4 nights but after 6 nights I was ready for a real bed. It would be perfectly fine for a younger and more agile person.

Can I ask for a certain room? I have reservations in a preferred room in April, but after reading all this great info, my wife and I would would like to stay in a 4th floor room facing the lake. Can I ask for this in advance, or do I ask when I check in? Thanks in advance.
