The Great Pin Adventure Pin Meet - August 11, 2001 (Contemporary)

I am feeling a little sad and blue right now. Just had a friend make dinner res at ak lodge at boma(sp) for 8p. I can't run out on the him or my dh since the two are celebrating their birthdays. So, that means I will miss the beginning...hope you will still be there at 9-930p or so. Mom and I will be there if we have t inhale our food. Maybe we can change the ressie to 730p.

Oh well, whatever the time we make it we'll make the most of it.

I was trying to find the web site for this event and it took me forever to find the original post. So in case anyone is interested in info about the pin meet, here it is again.

I also noticed from looking at the list that 22 states are represented.

Latest count for The Great Pin Adventure has 137 people attending the meet. I have also received requests from 16 people who are interested in trading for the pin/lanyard/card but cannot attend in person.

Additional meet activities have been posted to the web page and will continue to be updated as time draws nearer. The Who's Coming list has also been updated and new states have representation.

I am now working on the personalized lanyard cards. I would ask everyone who is attending this meet to please check The Great Pin Adventure web site to make sure they are listed and that their names are spelled correctly. This list is being used to create the cards so your help is imperative. Building and laminating 153 lanyard cards is going to take me a little while so please everyone take a look at the list and make sure your information is correct. If you have changes or need additional assistance, please send an e-mail to Arizona Jeff or Mean Laureen . Thanks again to everyone who have sent e-mail and suggestions. I look forward to seeing all of you very soon.

Wow, that was terrific!!I have great pins,there over 20 yrs old and i probably wouldnt trade them,i love them.Great job!!
