The Good, the Bad, and the "you've got to be kidding me!" Trip Report

Many positive thoughts for you guys on the house. I am sure it will work out for you! ((HUGS))

DD5 looks so cute in her recital costumes. I miss dance recitals. DD8 did dance for 2 yrs and didnt want to do it anymore. Thankfully I have DD4 to dress up and play with now. Her mother is supposed to sign her up for dance in the Fall. If she defaults, I'll make sure she at least gets into the Y for ballet.

Can't wait to get to your "going home" report. Not that its good ya'll had to leave, but I want to read more!!!

How adorable! :cloud9: Love the costumes!!

Take your time. We will be here waiting popcorn::

I feel like I missed something  Why are you refinancing? If thats too personal I understand.

The couple's story is so sad. Reminds me of the movie UP. I cried all the way through it. :sad1:

Good luck on the house! I know houses up there keep going up in prices, but there aren't many jobs for the people there to buy the houses (without driving 1 or 2 hours to get to work that is)... That's the reason we moved :sad2:.
DD looks adorable in her dance outfits! :cutie:

Good luck with your plans - hope it all works out for you.

I am on night 3 of 4 dance recital nights this week! (almost over!). DD does freestyle and their dance this year is to the HSM song I Don't Dance. She is really enjoying it. Tiring though eh?

I just started reading your trip report and I am on page four...the Aunt Flo thing, I plan our trips for the week after and mine is very regular every 29 days...EVERY time we go to Disney it is a week late and waits until vacation!:lmao::headache:

Going back to reading, and sorry to hear of your DH's aunt.

sending Pixie Dust and Prayers for the mtg paperwork...
DD looks super cute what was her ballet song?
Our recital is the 14th I can't wait all 3 of my kids are dancing this year!!!
They are in SIX dances this year- holy cow guess that means I have to buy the DVD......:thumbsup2

I lost my job in Feb and I am working now but at minimum wage.....there is not enough at the end of the day to make all our payments.....we technically are not refinancing as we are "reworking" the loan due to loss of income to reduce the interest rate and work out a smaller monthly payment.....if that does not work out....then we have to foreclose. (My salary was basically cut in half)

I love the dance costumes. We have our recital coming up on the 14th. Claire does just one song. Their class is called star and they do a bit of everything in it, ballet, tap, tumbling, but this year the recital dance is tap, even though they really don't do alot of tapping. LOL!

This is Claire's costume...minus the tap shoes

I remember now you leaving your job. I guess I thought that since you were working again that all was well. I do hope that the refi works for you and you are able to be back to where you were real soon.

Well, here it is.....heading home day :sad1:

The alarm went off at 6am....I slowly got up and showered, trying to soak in everything up to the very last second. DH got up while I was in the shower and got the girls up and dressed.

He jumped in after me, simply to wake his butt up!;)

After hair was combed and teeth were brushed, I packed up the goody bag and we did one last walk-thur around the room to make sure that nothing was missed.

**sigh**

We opened the door and quietly made our way down to Classic Hall. It was cool and rainy...hmmm, great flying weather:sad2:

We headed into the gift shop, as I wanted to get a couple last minute things. I took the girls over to the snack area to get our last meal at Disney.

I got my chocolate croissant, and DH decided he wanted one too..I dont remember what the girls got, but it was junk food...:confused3

when we sat down to eat, DH said that he got me something....

Umm, okay

He bought me the "I-4" road sign that has the mickey silhouette. I was tickled to death. I will try to get a picture and upload....it is hanging proudly in my bedroom.

I had bought my Disney photo album, that is the ONE thing I buy every disney trip....I know I could go to Walmart or Target but Disney is always a special trip.

After eating and shopping, one last potty stop and we head out front to catch magical express. There are a lot of people waiting besides us.

In fact, we had to wait until the second ME bus before we could get on.

We were on the bus and on our way home :sad1:

The bus driver was great, he made the sing "Now it's time to say goodbye"

I got a little teary eyed but I knew that I would be back.....with my degree!

We were dropped of at our terminal and headed to check in at Southwest. We talked to another family who rode ME with us...it always nice to do that!

WE then headed to our gate and sat down.....

the girls were hungry again......

"You've got to be kidding me!" ;)

WE JUST ATE!!!

What I didnt factor in was that they saw McDonalds!

DH runs over to the MickeyD's by our gate and gets us some snacks

I had a Mcgriddle, which is soooo very bad for you but it tasted soooo darn good, and an apple juice. I took my "happy" pill and settled in my seat until it was time to board.

Side note:
Happy Pill = anti-anxiety medicine so that I do not have an anxiety attack on the plane.

We boarded the plane and got decent seat. I sat between the girls and DH sat in front of me.

It was raining really hard at this point, and I still felt very anxious.

but once we were in the air, I was okay and even drifted off to sleep for a little while.......

big mistake!

DD5 knocked my tray which then spilled my cup of Ginger ale down my leg! :scared1:

That should have been a "kidding me" moment but I was so tired that I truely didnt care. The flight attendant brought me some paper towels and I apologized, as it was MY cup that spilled. She was nice about it and told me not to worry. I gave DD5 the "look" and made her put her tray up and sit still before I really got upset.

about 30 min after the "incident", we landed.

It was pouring rain in Baltimore!
And it was cold!!!!!!

We head to baggage claim and I call me mom to tell her that we have landed and are safely on the ground. I also told her that it was a great trip but she and grandpa were missed!:lovestruc

Finally, we grab our wet luggage and find our shuttle to our car.

We get into our humble van and start towards home, with a side stop at Grammy's to pick up DH's truck

As soon as we get on I-695, I fall back asleep until Hagerstown.

We go visit Grammy and then I fall back to sleep for another two hours......

Holy Cr@p, I didnt realize how tired I was.....

DH wakes me up and says that we have to go because he has to be at the wedding rehearsal for his good friend and we have to meet up with his parents to drop off the girls to them.....

Well, down the road we go!

At that, Ladies and Gentlemen, is where this adventure ends!

Again, I cannot express what your kind words have meant to me and my family.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart! :grouphug:

What a wonderful report. I know when I get back I am so tired, but never feel while there. LOL!

Clara wonderful trip report please keep us updated on you!
I have a side note: a friend of mine lives in Hagerstown!!!! I went to highschool with him he works for Homeland security.... pretty small world !

Clara, what a teary ending. It is always so sad to leave. But knowing that when you go next time you will have a degree and new career ahead of you should make you feel better.

Thanks for sharing your trip with us. I have enjoyed it through to the very end.

Your trip report was wonderful! Please keep us posted! Good luck with everything!

Great TR! Alot of "bumps in the road" but it seems like you all had a fantastic time, in spite of it all.

I hope all worked out with the house and just keep thinking that the next time you are all in Disney, it will be a wonderful celebration princess:

I'm in the process (much to the chagrin of my dh) of trying to plan a trip for next year. I would love to stay at one of the deluxe resorts but I don't think it will be feasible.....so it may be CBR, which is fine because we've stayed there before and really liked it.

I am sorry about being MIA for soo long but so much has happened.

First off, we were able to work with the mortgage company and reduced the mortgage payment by a 1/3. That was great! the mortgage company actually wanted to work with us

Second, I start my classes at the end of August and I will graduate with my RN degree December 2011.

So I just needs your good thoughts and prayers to help me through the next two years!

That is great about the mortgage and also about you going back to school! I have been thinking of doing the same.

Will def say a prayer for you
