The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly of the Boston DISmeet

Well, I just got home from the tonight's DISmeet at the Elephant and Castle in Boston. I had a great time meeting some local DISers, and I had a darn good cheeseburger. Life is good.

Anyways, I'll start with the bad. Our beloved Wagamama, who worked so hard to get this DISmeet off the ground was no where to be found. We missed her dearly. Please let us know that everything is OK, Von. I tried to get everyone to pose for a picture with their tounges sticking out for you, but no one else was willing. I tried.

The good was meeting everyone. There were seven of us there--Cheryl (Cherylp3) and her hubby Todd, Kim (CoasterAddict), Amy (AWilliams), Jana (Gemmie214), yours truly (TLinden16), and the surprise guest of the evening WebmasterAlex (I'll let everyone else decide on there own if Alex showing up was the good, the bad, or the ugly). Everyone was super nice, and it was fun chatting with everyone, eating some good food, and just putting a face to the DISname.

As for the ugly, well, there was nothing particularly ugly about tonight. Ugly just goes hand in hand with the good and the bad.

It wsa a nice time, and I look forward to seeing everyone again sometime.

I know she was really sorry to have to miss the meet, and I hope they get her fixed up really quickly!

Cheryl and Todd took some pictures. Hopefully they will post them in the next day or two. We even took a picture of the seat that Von would have been sitting in. The spirit of Von was at the table tonight!

And we will have another Boston DISmeet with Von! She really was missed!
