We went for lunch in August 2004. It was the best lunch we have ever had in WDW. I had a shrimp filled croissant and beef and barley broth. Dd had beer battered fish and chips and ds had crab cakes. The total was $33 and it was such good food - cant praise it enough.

There has never been any bad or ugly there - in 10 years of very frequent visits. One of the undiscovered gems

We have eaten at the Yacht Club Galley several times for meals when we were too tired to leave the resort to trek out to other dining options, as well as ordered from them for room service at the Yacht Club, and have always been pleased. The cleanliness is superior, and the wait staff has always been friendly. The breakfasts in particular are good, and their granola is so yummy that I asked for the recipe - although I guess you wouldn't serve granola at a rehearsal dinner ;) I think if you are having a large party in particular, or one with children, this would be a good option - open spaces, pleasing, neutral decor, food that should appeal to a wide range of people, not too loud or too hushed - everyone could enjoy themselves and be comfortable. Hope this helps :thumbsup2

It is a nice mellow restaurant. We've been there a lot for lunch and have enjoyed it. Dinner is just ok, I think the menu is very limited.

The few dishes I've had at dinner have been mediocre. I'd like to see a little more selection at dinner (for the more "health" conscious..like a chicken breast dish or a grilled fish-not big on cod and the half chicken is not that good). Service has always been good, very clean and prices are reasonable. I just prefer their lunch menu.

we always try to have one meal at YCG every trip, my DH says its one of WDW`s best kept secrets ! :thumbsup2 Great Chicken Ceasar salad, and DH enjoys the grilled chicken sandwich w/ veggies.

We've thinking about going here too. It looked pretty good from the menu and Allears gave it good reviews recently in one of their weekly newsletters. It convinced us! :thumbsup2

We've only eaten there once. I thought the food was so-so, but DH really enjoyed his meal. The cleanliness was impeccable and the service was super friendly, courteous and fast.
