Edited to add: I just got to the part about ads featuring gay couples. I remembered when Disney Blogs announced the Disney Springs name change there was a family with 2 dads and 2 kids. I went looking for it and found it, am I allowed to post the link here?

In all seriousness I really enjoyed this show. I finally have a label of my own to embrace, gay friendly.

This show will work because the team is open and up front about this and have a good friendly banter that anyone con appreciate.

No I think it's just funny you mention it because my first thought was have Craig produce so Oliver can sit at the table and focus on the conversation, participate more fully, instead of being distracted manning the controls.
But then I thought.."but poor Craig needs a day off sometime!"

But I give kudos to the team, especially Ryno, it's a cool thing they are trying to do. The other day when listening to the DL show, Ryno was a guest and mentioned Eli. It was only the second time I've heard him mention him, the first being the Pulse show. Frankly, I wasn't sure who was and wasn't gay before the Pulse show. Today he talked more openly about himself and Eli, more then he has said in the whole last year.
I admire and honor their willingness to open up on this show. I wish them great success with the endeavor.

The other day when listening to the DL show, Ryno was a guest and mentioned Eli. It was only the second time I've heard him mention him, the first being the Pulse show. Frankly, I wasn't sure who was and wasn't gay before the Pulse show. Today he talked more openly about himself and Eli, more then he has said in the whole last year.

Haven't watched the show yet but wanted to mention that having met both Ryno and Eli I know they are both really nice people. They make a good couple and each is interesting in their own right.

Thanks for sharing that. I believe fairly recently a show on the Disney Channel featured a same-sex couple ... and the best thing I think was that a big deal wasn't made of it - it was just like seen as normal

I loved the show and think it is a great idea and something that this team can do and share with a wide audience that not all Disney related shows can

I think it is great they are featuring other businesses as well in the area

I wonder if in the future they would touch on aspects in Disney where they, as members of the LGBTQ community, they feel they are still treated differently. I've had a few mentioned to me in conversations that I wouldn't have thought of but am glad I am now aware of (things like people not as often saying Happy Anniversary to them when they are wearing the buttons as they do to straight couples, etc.)
