The furniture glitch

Have you ever noticed that sometimes it's difficult to move furniture around your room? Sometimes I cant' seem to place it and it follows me all around the room. If it's a chair, I am, of course sitting in it, and I am unceremoniously dropped to the floor.

But what happened today is a true glitch, that apparently happens with regularity. I finally got a water trough for my boot hill room (relax at boot hill). Appropriate, I thought since one VMK name is Cazalet and my other VMK name is DLNika (one is my horse, and one is my dog), and lets face it, they really wanted that water trough. Well, it seems that when you rotate the water trough they disappear. I mean it is gone ... not anywhere in my stuff. I've logged out and back on and well ... poof. (And it's 1000 credits, too!)

Anyway on another board, someone says yeah that can happen with the water troughs, and someone else also said their big thunder transporter disappeared too.

So how about YOU? Any funny furniture stories to tell?

I lost a rare pink hamper chair that way! But thankfully when I logged back on the next day it was in my inventory.

But now my problem is... whenever I leave my room and come back my furniture is turned around.

I traded my BTMR teleporters to Bezoar for a coffin, and somehow one of the trains turned invisible. It eventually went off to the big furniture inventory in the sky. It's a shame, really. Bezoar told me those trains were the most valuable items in the game, and can only be obtained during the VMK insider tour.

But really, when you think about it, the trains didn't fit the decor of my mermaid's graveyard room.

Well, not quite "most valuable". Just more valuable than any teleporters that you can currently purchase (coffin, teacup, and boat). Probably of equal worth to Stitch teleporter, because both are available only as in-park quest prizes. And certainly NOT as "valuable" as an inferno pin, which is not obtainable by normal means, yet.

If the train ever re-appears, they're yours again, or if I get in-park, any train teleporters I get on quest I'll give to you.

Yeah I lost a water trough. I turned it and it was put down too close to the wall, so it disappeared. I called for in game help and was told by the staff that it was for 911 emergencies - people being bad only! So I got another one and I noticed it disappeared too but I kept rotating it and it came back when there was room to display it. Don't let go of the mouse button!!

I got first for the first time yesterday in fireworks and got the Fantasyland poster. When I went to place it, it was transparent (like it gets when you are hovering over a spot where it can't be placed). But my inventory popped back up and it was there too, so I placed it. Then I clicked on the transparent one and was able to move it to a spot where it was solid - so I had two posters up. Well, I removed one to see what would happen, and it went to my inventory, but still had one on my wall! I think it is still there, although I haven't had the chance to check it out yet today.

Updating to say that I am now back to one Fantasyland poster. When I logged on last night, there was one on my wall, but not in my inventory anymore.

The same thing happened to me! I had the Jolly Roger and I tried to place it somewhere and I got the transparent one. Well, I eventually got it over the entry. A few weeks ago, I got a pirate room and had forgoton compleatly about the second jolly roger. I went to place the pirate stuff that I got with the room down and found the Jolly Roger. I was like "Whoa! where did this come from?". I read this and just remembered. LOL!

I lost 2 blue rocket chairs off my inventory today. Just gone, poof, never to be seen again!

Yeah, I have been in two friends' rooms where the big thunder mountain transporter had disappeared; however, the transporter still worked if you clicked on the right spot. I thought it was pretty cool to have an invisible transporter in your room. If yours disappears, try walking around the room and see if it is still there but invisible.
