Anybody have any funny stories that happened to them at one of the Disney parks?
I have a few, but the one that sticks out in my head is when we were in DCA 2 years ago and it was the first time we had seen the Electrical parade since it moved back to CA. We decided to wait early to make sure we got really good seats and decided on a bench right outside (I think it was) Napa Rose or the Vinyard Room or something. As my DH, DD5, DD10, and myself sat and waited proudly and feeling like we just got the find of the century with this bench, we noticed people pointing when they walked by us and giggling. We didn't think anything of it until we started to notice a kind of smell, not particularly horrible but definitely not good....and it was getting stronger and worse. We thought maybe it was some kind of strong imported cheese they were using in the restaurant behind us or something. Then one group of people walked by and the guy in the group did a "thumbs up" sign at us and said "you got yourself some great seats there!" and then they all started laughing as they walked away. It wasn't until then that we realized the bench was placed over a sewer drain and we were smelling sewer the entire time!! Needless to say, we got up and walked across the street and sat there on the ground. To this day, we point and refer to that seat as the "stinky bench"
